    Easy on the eyes, uses less energy, uses less engery, doesn't give off a lot of heat

    Maybe not as bright as comtemorary Bulbs, Can be dangerous if they break

CFL's (Compact Flourescent Lightbulbs) — 

I replaced all of the incandescent bulbs in my small condo with these compact fluorescent bulbs and afte six months noted that they did reduce my energy expenses compared with the previous six months of usage.
