I changed all the bulbs in my home to these and the first month saw a electric savings of about $20. Nothing else changed consumption wise so I think they are really helping me save some money. I am not sure that they are as bright as regular bulbs but there is no glare and they last a long time. A bit of investment is needed to change over all bulbs but the savings should pay for it soon.
