I am a hopeless collector of lip gloss, so I've got a certain amount of context into which to place this Cargo Blu Ray lip gloss. This lip gloss looks good when it is first applied, but it does not last. I like the minty flavor it has, it gives a certain tingly feeling to the lips, but don't mistake this for any kind of plumping, because there is none of that. I would say that this is an average lip gloss at an above average price, so I wouldn't really recommend it. It doesn't stand out enough to get a lot of usage from me. I've found it most useful to apply over matte lipstick to give a little shine and moisture, and because I like the flavor. That way, when it wears off, and it really does disappear as if it's evaporating, my lips will still have some color and product on them from the origial lipstick. I used this lip gloss when I had my head shot done for a work-related picture I needed, and it looked good on camera, but not any better than any of the other lip glosses I have would have looked. The "Blu Ray" stuff is all hype, in my opinion.

I was very disappointed with this product. I love Cargo products in general, especially their blushes and eyeshadows but their lip glosses weren't up to my expectations. It was part of a gift set I baught this year and I'm glad I didn't pay for the full size product because the quality of this gloss is truly below average. One good thing about it is that, just as advertized, it is NOT sticky at all. You don't even feel it on your lips when you apply it and it was pretty nice, hence the 2 stars. Now what went wrong : 1) the glosses aren't pigmented at all. Whatever the colour you pick it won't make much of a difference... very sad I know.  2) it won't stay on your lips. The thing just disappear in the minutes after the application, HUGE disappointment there. 3) the price. For that much money you expect the perfect gloss and obviously, it's NOT ! I don't have much else to say except one thing, don't waist your money on this lip gloss !
