The CO Bigelow Apothecaries brand is one that I usually trust because their products are natural and the company touts itself as "honest, genuine and trustworthy." They typically live up to their motto. It's also an animal friendly company as none of their cosmetic products are tested on animals. At the recommendation of my sister, I decided to try out their mint-infused Mentha Lip Tint, which is available at popular retailer Bath and Body Works. I picked up the Bare Mint shade, which according to the shading on the packaging was a reddish-brown shade for $7.50, which is more than I like to usually spend on a lip moisturizing product. I was pleased when I initially put it on as it left my lips with that tingly feeling that you get when a lip product is working. But as the day went on, it started to feel a little too goopy on my lips. Aside from the feeling it leaves after several hours of wear, the color wasn't really a tint at all. In fact, I could barely make out any color. It did, however, leave a nice gloss, which with the initial application is the only plus to this product.
