All time fav lip cover.

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

I love all things peppermint. When I saw the C.O. Bigelow Mentha lip tint on sale at Bath and Body works, I had to try it. I chose the darkest burgandy tint they had at the time. It had peppermint oil in it. It was awesome. It goes on nicely. the tint is very light even the darest tints are pretty light. My favorite thing about the Mentha Lip Tints is the peppermint oil. It smells good and it feels good and refreshing. Since my first tube, I have bought many others for myself and my girlfriends. It is a fav for all of us.

It is very versatile. I am an older mom and it works well as an everyday lip cover. I also use it on top of darker lipsticks to add a little pizazz and to get my peppermint fix. My daughter is a soon to be tween and the lightest tint is her first lip gloss.

There is one con to the Mentha Lip Tints. It is in the packaging. I keep them in my pocketbook and they always seem to get sand or dirt of some sort where the cap screws on. Its odd as no other items in the purse seem to attract this type of problem. That said, a tissue wipes it right off.

The Best Lip Tint!

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

I found these at Bath and Body Works and have since bought more than half a dozen of thesse CO Bigelow Mentha Lip Gloss/Tints! I like that they have a minty taste to it, which is very cooling. Even though I have heard that mint can dry your lips out, I haven't found these to be drying. I put a layer of lip balm underneath and then apply this gloss on top. They come in a variety of sheer color tints, and my favorite is the Violet Mint. They add just a hint of color but a big burst of minty freshness and shine. I think that the lip tints look good on everyone, and they are pretty affordable at about 7 bucks a piece. This beats some of the higher end lip glosses if you are looking for something that is simple to use and adds a lot of shine. They are addictive because I use them several times a day! I like the colored ones as well as some of the original ones like spearmint and cinnamon. Try one out!

Minty Shine with Light Color!

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

I love the minty taste for your breath and it's so shiny.  I have the pink shimmer and berry shimmer.  I really love the berry one.  It has a nice slight color to it.  This is a tint so the color will be a lot lighter than it looks in the tube. It also looks great over darker lipsticks to give a brilliant shine and it helps with your breath when needed.

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

I purchased a few of these lip glosses on sale after hearing all the hype about it and trying a little bit from my friend.  I was really excited to try it, after hearing about how it not only moisturizes, but also leaves you with better smelling breath.  Well, after using it, I would say that it does moisturize your lips, but the consistency is a bit too thick for me.  I've also found that it warm weather, it also "melts" on my lips.  I do not put very much on at all, but it just becomes a bit too globby.  The tint is also not very obvious with these lip glosses, but that's fine by me.  I prefer for my lips to have a natural color.  A good thing about it is that the formula of the lip gloss isn't sticky, which is a trend that I've noticed with most lip glosses.  I also feel a tingly sensation upon applying the gloss, which reminds me of the chapstick from Burt's Bees.  Overall, I'm not a huge fan of the gloss, but it's not a bad choice either.

Not one lipgloss I have found to be better!!

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

C.O Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint is the greatest.  I use all the shades and I have the regular ones without color.  I have at least four in use at one time, one in my car, purse, friend's car, and cosmetic bag.  I apply all the time, the tint mixes well with most of my lip glosses or lip sticks.  I also enjoy the peppermint oil it refreshes your breath when there is no TICTAC in sight.  I have turned soo many friends and family on to this lipgloss, it is not too much tint and it is not to thick.  Most lip glosses are to thick and I guess the reason is for longevity but this lip gloss remains and it is not thick.  It doesn't give off too much of a shine, it is just right especially with the tint.  I can't say enough things about how great this lip gloss is and how much of it I literally have.  It also doesn't get used quickly, I stay on one tube at least a month if not longer because i have soo many floating around for use.  If I had to pick a favorite tint it would be violet it goes soo well with my MAC color gloss.  I would advise anyone to run to Bath and Body Works and pick up at least one tube because you will not be disappointed!!

The best lipgloss, fresh breath, chapstick all-in-one!

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

This is a Holy Grail for me. I keep one in my bag, in my car, at work and everywhere I go. This is a great chapstick/ lip gloss/ lip tint/ breath fresher. I know some people say it's too light in color, but I like it that way. It's more natural. It's not completely clear. Just a hint of color & shine. If you think it’s too light, they do make this in other darker shades. But No. 1136 is definitely for those who seek a natural look. I use this during all 4 seasons. The Tube packaging makes it so that you can use it year round, regardless of the heat or cold. (If you leave it in the car, it just means that it will be a little more liquefied than usual. If you left it out in the cold, it will most likely harden just a little bit. The texture is very smooth and it’s instant freshness! It’s a little sticky, but it’s not your usual gloss sticky. A little goes a long way with this item. I am on my second one, and it’s been a year since I started this one. I admit the price is high though. I got these when it was free with a purchase at bbw. At best, I would pay half price for it, but definitely not retail. Not that it’s not worth it, but I just don’t think ANY of BBW’s stuff should be bought at retail. Lol. Good luck!

Violet Mint is my fave!

By

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

Man, this stuff rocks! I've even had guys steal C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tints off of me (Vanilla Mint to be exact.) I suppose your more metro-variety man could get away with wearing these because the colors are faint, though some do have a noticeable tint. My favorite, the Violet Mint, has a slight purplish hue. More importantly, the flavor is delicious and the cooling sensation on the lips this product leaves is really delightful. My only real complaint is that, like many lip glosses, it's quite thick and one's hair likes to get caught in it, then leave those wonderful little slug trails across the cheeks when you go to pull the strands away. I've never really encountered a lip gloss that doesn't do this, but this particular brand is especially thick and sticky. I would also like to mention that it is packaged exceptionally because I've had more than one of these go through the washer and dryer and come out just fine.

Minty fresh & doesn't dry out my lips!

By

Comments about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - All Shades:

C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries has a Mntha Lip Tint that is mint-infused (with 2% peppermint oil) to freshen breath while adding a great gloss to your lips.  It is available in assorted colors, but the "Bare Mint" is my favorite.  It provides a great shine with just a hint of color that looks more natural than "made-up".

I've also tried the Peppermint & Cinnamon versions of this product & I found these to be just as awesome.  Many natural products make my lips peel, which leads me to believe I'm allergic to one of the ingredients they contain, however, these products seem to work just fine with no adverse side-effects.

The company is based out of New York, and not only do they put their full address on their products, but they also list a phone number.  This ups the comfort level in my book becuase it does not seem like they are shying away from confrontation and would even welcome comments.
