Do I have toothpaste on my lips?

The Verdict: I was hoping to really like this lip gloss as I'm crazy about black cherry flavored things. It's huge on shine but unfortunately tastes like toothpaste.

Just the Facts: After hearing rave reviews about C.O. Bigelow Black Cherry Soda Mentha Lip Shine I just had to try it. I needed another lip gloss like a hole in the head but it sounded good so I gave it a whirl.

This lip gloss is available at Bath and Body Works stores and on their on-line store. I once got nabbed by the lip gloss sample sniper at BBW who had me try the Cinnamint version of this gloss which sent me screaming...

Lip Shine Without Flavor

This brand of lip gloss retails at Bath and Body Works and is a high quality lip gloss. I bought the product because of the advertised cherry flavor and I was hoping it would taste like fresh black cherries on my lips. I was not disappointed in the quality of the product, however I was disappointed in the flavor. The flavor does not at all resemble the fresh black cherry soda taste I was looking for. There is a subtle hint of cherry flavor but it is overpowered by the taste of strong mint which is strong and almost like medicine.
