I joined bzzagent a couple of months ago, and recently got my first "campaign".  A campaign is where they send you a product for free to try, and in the case of this campaign that I'm on now, some samples and coupons to give to friends and family.  You need to write short reports on how you spread the word about this product, as the premise of the website is to use word of mouth to promote products.  I loved getting the product for free (in my case a cleaning product), and being able to share samples and coupons with my friends and coworkers once I used the product myself.  I had no trouble saying positive things about it, becuase I really liked the product.  I would think that it would be difficult to promote the product if you didn't like it though.  I have submitted 2 reports and the responses from the people who review the reports was positive, but didn't really offer any information on how to improve my "score" to increase my level. I think that the increases in levels allow you to be offered more campaigns, but I have heard from some people that even though they are a higher level, they don't necessarily get more invitations.  You also get reward points for each campaign, but so far I'm not impressed.  For my campaign, you could donate to charity (nice, but it would be great to have some other options), and a water bottle.  The water bottle choice was gone before I got enough points for it, and I just looked today, and there wasn't even an option to donate your points anymore.  Not that I don't think that getting free products is enough, but if they are going to offer rewards, I would think that they should make sure that there are at least a couple of choices, and that there are enough rewards for everyone who they invite into the campaign.  Overall, I would recommend this site for anyone who wants to try products and spread the word, but don't do it for any other type of reward, because you might not end up being able to get anything.

In response to LadyMagic's comment from May 15, 2008 at 4:19PM:

They just put in a new reward points system, that I haven't checked out. I know before, the points didn't expire, some people had hundreds. The products you get to buzz about are better than any of the rewards they had though, I just got a $250 remote control that controls all the electronic media equipment we have.

How long are the reward points good for? I'm thinking of joining.
