Bushnell Bushnell Powerview 8x21 Compact Folding Roof Prism Binocular Review

After reading the reviews for several compact binoculars I chose the Bushnell powerview 8x21. I just wanted an inexpensive pair of binoculars for wildlife viewing that were also compact and lightweight. I was nervous at first since you usually get what you paid for but these should not disappoint. I have not taken them hiking yet, but the optics are quite nice for birdwatching around the neighborhood. They are also easy to focus - I wear glasses and although it's hard to use them while wearing glasses, the optics compensate perfectly when I take my glasses off. While they are not very powerful, keep in mind how extremely compact they are - They could fit in a pocket if need be. I am only going to use these for casual use. They do come with a strap although it reminds me a small shoelace. But the case is nice and it has a belt loop. All in all I think it's a nice pair for the price (I paid ~$13.00 on Amazon) and I won't be too disappointed if they break or I lose them.
