I bought the Burt's bees Royal Jelly Eye Cream when I was pregnant with my second child. I wasn't getting much sleep, and my eyes showed it. I was surprised at how expensive this eye cream was because the jar is so tiny. I quickly realized that it doesn't take much at all, so I thought the jar would last a while. I used it every night before bed, and after a couple of weeks I was really beginning to see a difference. My eyes just looked brighter. I was so tired, but I didn't look it. I was starting to really love this eye cream until I had been using it for about a month. I had about 1/3 of the jar left, and when I opened it, I found mold inside! It was so gross, and I had to throw out what I had left. I really loved this, but I can't afford to throw out that much every month because of mold. Absorption This eye cream doesn't absorb too well. It just sits on top of my skin, but I only use it before bed so that doesn't bother me that much.

One of the few Burt's bees products I absolutely adore. The royal jelly really does feel like royalty on my face. I would not use this cream during the day because it is a thicker cream that does not absorb as fast or well as some other creams but it is a delight at night before I go to bed. This smells magnificent. My husband loves when I wear this to bed. He always says how wonderful I smell. I also love this cream because it really does a magnificent job of smoothing fine lines and getting rid of those terrible dark circles under your eyes. I would recommend this as a night eye cream to anyone thinking about purchasing this product. It is also an affordable product which I love because even if you don't have the money to spend on a high end product you should still treat yourself! Absorption Well it does take a bit of time to absorb fully which is why I would recommend it for night use. Doesn't Clog Pores Keeps my pores clog free! Effectiveness Great product!

My husband got this for me in a Burt's Bees gift pack, once. I loved it! It's like lanolin and comparable to an older brand of an Estee Lauder product I used to use that belonged to my mother that they don't make anymore. It can break your skin out if you use it anywhere other than your eyes. This product will last about a year. You can also use it on your hands and feet. It's great and good enough for night.

A longtime allergy sufferer, I tend to get bad eczema near my eyes. This is the only product out there that is able to calm the skin around my eyes, which is one of the most sensitive areas of skin. It was a little bit expensive, for such a tiny pot, but it did last a long time, you don't need a whole lot to dab around your eyes. The skin around my eyes cleared up fairly quickly and became very, very smooth. If it can help out my problem skin, imagine what it can do for you! It contains Royal Jelly, which is an amazing bee-product with a variety of uses.

For years, I had embarrassing dry skin underneath my eyes.  I would wake up in the morning with horrible globs of dry skin and everyday I had to try to scrub it off, but everything I tried was only temporary and my skin would go right back to being dry and disgusting.  Enter Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme.  I was desperate for a solution to my embarrassing problem and somehow stumbled upon this wonderful product.  I purchased it online and when it arrived a few days later, I was a bit dismayed at how teeny tiny the jar was for the price I paid.  With a frown, I decided to try it out anyway.  I dabbed the stuff on my skin and instantly the skin felt relieved and nourished. Then I looked in the mirror and noticed that where I had dabbed the stuff was all greasy and shiny-looking.  I blotted it gently with a piece of tissue and the shine and grease look was gone, but the benefits were still there.  One application in the morning lasted me all day, and I applied again at night.  In just two or three days my skin looked normal and I was no longer embarrassed.

I bought this over a year ago and found that when I used it in the morning it made my mascara smudge so it slowly moved to the back of the cabinet. About six months ago I started getting really dry itchy skin on my hands and around my eyes. I've been experimenting with all my lotions and makeup and have been throwing them out one by one. Definitely need to use the more natural products. My eye makeup remover started irritating my eyes so one day I used a Q-tip and some Burt's Bees Royal Jelly eye cream (after washing my face) to remove any remaining mascara. It is great! The skin around my eyes feels moist and hydrated, even in the morning! A little goes a long way. I still don't use it in the morning since I put make up on right away (this needs time to absorb), but it is great as a night cream/mascara remover (I use 'smudgeproof', not waterproof, mascara).

I recently started noticing my eyes were getting puffy and had dark circles under them. I was using Garnier rollerball eye treatment but obviously that wasn't doing a thing for me. I got online and looked up reviews on different eye creams and found this one. I love that it's all natural and non irritating. It goes on smoothly and makes my eye area feel very moisturized and refreshed. I put a little bit on before bedtime and when I wake up, my eyes look bright and beautiful. No more puffiness or dark circles! I have tried alot of different eye creams for much more than this and they do not even compare to Burts Bees! I've been using this for 2 months now and still have 3/4 of the container left so this does last a long time because a little bit goes a long way. I hope they keep this eye cream around for a long time because it's such a wonderful product I don't know what I'd do without it!

**I have been recently throwing out products that have all that crap in them and trying to go more and more natural and healthy inside and out. I bought this not quite sure of what it's suppose to do. I really dont like my under eyes, kinda saggy and dark. I dont think this product is suppose to help with that, but was hoping it could help in some way shape or form maybe help me feel better bout my under eyes. I like the daily lotion by Burts bees so on a whim tried this as well. Here's what I will say.. It's a small container, But most eye creams are. It is white and creamy,. very lightweight. It goes on nice and smooth and dries fairly quick so your not stuck with a goo face! I think it even smells ok, no strong smells or anything. I personally just dont see any major differences on my face fromt his product. I dunno agan, what to expect, but with the other products, i see differences this I dont. I can't say I would buy it again or not, I will continue to use till the bottle is empty, it's been bout 2 months now since I bought. My mom has a bunch of this stuff and she made no comment on this item either. SO to each their own but I dont see the big deal on this one.**

  I love the slogan of this eye cream "An eye treatment fit for a queen."  I have been in the market for an eye cream that was not too expensive and worked well, this product was not all that much, and does moisturize.  They really promote this for the royal jelly, and although it is an ingredient I don't really know how much is in there.  The smell is great, it does smell like royal jelly (to my knowledge) and I love it.  I use it more than once a day, generally after cleaning my skin, and prior to my face cream.  A little dab goes a long way and I rub it in, with small circular motions around my lower eye and to the side. I don't particularly have a bad "eye area", but my though is start early to reduce wrinkles, I must admit I have a few and very small wrinkles, but as I step into 2010 and the inevitable turning of 26... I feel that I should at least moisturize to prevent the wrinkles and stay younger longer.    What I have noticed using this product is my skin around my eye area does feel softer.  I really can't say if this because of this product or that I've never really paid that much attention to the texture of my eye area.  I don't really notice a big difference, since I have this a preventive measure and not really able to see any improvement.

I ordered a burt's bees royal jelly sample and the eye cream came with it.  I didn't really think I needed to try it because I'm only 23 but I tried it anyway.  I really liked the way it make my skin feel.  The skin under your eyes is so sensitive and for me not getting enough sleep automatically gives me dark circles.  This cream helped get rid of the dark circles and make my skin really smooth and soft.  I absolutely love it and wish it wasn't just a sample.  I used it every night until it was gone and it made such a difference on the skin under my eyes.  I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who gets dark circles.  All of the royal jelly products have a little bit of shimmer to them which helps the light reflect off your skin to make you look like you're glowing.  It's really perfect for dark circles because you can't really notice them once you put on the cream.
