Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil Reviews

Like a lot of my friends here on Viewpoints, I'm a self confessed lip gloss junkie!  I think I've tried them all.  I literally have a drawer in my bathroom, filled with different lipsticks & lip gloss balms.  Burt's Bees has a winner with their lip balm with pomegranate oil.

I've been using Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm for awhile now. A friend gave me this new one that contains pomegranate oil.  Interesting, I thought.  Well, I almost think I like this new one better than the original.  It glides on smoother, has a very pleasant fruity smell & taste, and leaves your lips feeling re-hydrated...

I am a complete die-hard, loyal fan of Burt's Bees Lip Balms. I love the beeswax lip balm and when I saw the pomegranate one, I just had to pick one up. I absolutely love this lip balm. Burt's Bees is one of the best brands for balms, and this is definitely one of my favourites Burt's products. It has a nice scent to it, which I love. My boyfriend isn't such a big fan of this flavour, but what does he know? ;) I love the taste of it, and hope that Burt's will experiment with more flavours for lip balms in the future.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil is an interesting twist on my favorite original Burt's Bees lip balm. I was eager to try this variety, but I have to say I was less than impressed.

First off, the balm itself is a rich red color, but the product doesn't really tint your lips. Instead, it leaves your lips a bit glossy looking with a slight hint of pink. It actually looks very pretty on, but I was turned off completely by the scent.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip balm is one of my favorites.  It leaves my lips soft and pretty after one use and if I use it regularly it keeps them from drying and cracking even in the winter time.  It does not add any color to the lips but provides just a little shine for a natural look.  It has a fruity scent and you can smell it for a while after you apply the lip balm.  I love the scent, but if you do not like scented products you might want to try one of their other lip balms.  When I read the back of the tube I know what every ingredient is which I find comforting.  The company seems...

Let me start by saying that almost all of burts bees products are amazing. Some chapsticks can have and nasty stench to it and claims to make your lips super smooth and to top the stench its supper sticky and tastes horrible. Well with burts bees lip balm with pomegranate oil its the total oppisite it has and amazing fruity pomegranate smell, not like other annoying lip balms that are way too fruity this is just perfect. I loved Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm so much that I decided to go ahead and also try the Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. Boy, was I disappointed. First of all I loved the spearmint scent of the original; this stuff I expected to smell like pomegranate...but it has this strange almost...bubble gum-like scent to it, and I for one, do not particularly like the scent of bubble gum in a lip balm, so that was a serious turn off right there. I not only suffer from dry lips daily- I am a lip balm junkie! I don't go anywhere without it. I love trying all different kinds of lip balm. I'm not so much about flavor as I am about the quality of the product, which is why I've rated Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm the way I have.

The product is waxy as other reviewers have said. This I don't mind. My problem with it is that the moisturization doesn't last very long. This is now the only chapstick I use. I previously used the Burt's Bees Honey chapstick, which can be a bit grainy at times. This one absolutely is not. It goes on smooth and lasts for a long time. I am a fathful fan of all burt's bees products, and I love the gift sets as well. The pomegranate refreshing lip balm is my favorite lip balm offered so far.
