Burt's Bees Poison Ivy Soap —

After a day of working in the yard, we headed out to a friend's beach house for a long relaxing weekend.  While on the road, my husband started complaining about an itch on his arm.  Since he's extremely alergic to poison ivy, I expected the worst.  Sure enough, when we arrived at out destination, he was cussing up a storm.  I found a bar of Burt's Bees Poison Ivy Soap in the house's first aid kit, figured it was worth a try and sure enough, it was incredible.  The itching and redness was almost gone by the next morning and by the next evening he was complaint free.  Now I keep several bars on hand.  Since we spend a lot of time outdoors I even keep one in all our vehicles.  True it doesn't smell very good and it takes a while to dry but it's well worth the minimal inconvenience.
