Not my favorite

By

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

As a big supporter of Burt's Bees, I usually love their products, but for some reason this peach scrub was not one of my favorites. I felt like the scrub did not really do anything for my skin. The smell is wonderful, and I thought that the texture of the scrub was decent. I mean the scrub itself is a soft lotion texture with abrasive pieces for exfoliation (it is what you would expect for a scrub, not too harsh on the skin but not gentle either) But after using the scrub it did not leave my face feeling clean, and I felt like my face felt greasy. I do not understand all the great reviews for this product, because I felt like it didn't do anything it had promised to do. I honestly felt like I needed to wash my face again with a different product after using this scrub! I was so worried this would make me break out because of the oily residue afterwards that I ended up tossing the rest of it. I really wish it would have worked out for me, but it just was not a good fit for my skin.

Another great Burt's Bees product.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

I have always liked Burt's Bees brand products due the them being almost fully natural. I particularly like Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Pore Scrub because it helps with my extremely dry skin. I need a strong exfoliate and find that this one works almost perfectly with my skin type. I have sensitive skin with rosacea and this exfoliate is not too harsh, like many others I have tried. This leaves my skin so soft. Plus, it smells SO good! It is very fruity and refreshing. Yum!

If you are looking for a product that will leave your dry skin baby soft, I recommend this one! It is such a good quality scrub!

Effectiveness
Exfoliates skin well without being too harsh! The longer you use it the softer your skin becomes.

Ease of Application
Simply rub it on your skin and rinse it off. It rinses off very clean and leaves your skin feeling smooth.

Scent
This has a very fruity smell, which I love. There is no medicinal smell like some products have. It is refreshing!

This natural scrub is invigorating and non-irritating.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

I have always been a fan of another companies facial scrub because of their use of apricot pits but I believe Burt's Bees has a leg up on other companies that use natural exfoliates. Burt's is completely natural. All ingredients in this scrub are natural and a lot of them are organic. It's designed to be non-irritating, soothing, and calming to the skin while scrubbing, cleansing, and healing. I love this scrub. It has the exfoliate that I love because it uses peach pits and tree bark. It also has soothing natural elements that keep skin calm. The scrub smells great too. It has a fruity and earthy combination smell that just does it for me. I love that this is so calming to my usually sensitive skin. It works great to get rid of blackheads in my nose and chin and it's a nice addition to my skincare routine that's all natural.

Effectiveness
This stuff is all natural but it's also effective. I can't get enough of this. It has all natural scrubbers in it that pull blackheads and pore clogging agents to the surface. The cream is thick and then spreads out with just a small amount of water. It feels great on my skin and I can see a visible difference after every use. My pores look smaller, feel tighter, and the blackheads are gone and less noticeable.

Ease of Application
It's very easy to apply but as with all exfoliates, be careful of your finger tips. I like to use a makeup pad to apply this and work it in a circular motion because it can irritate and cause the fingertip skin to exfoliate as well. I like my face exfoliated but it can be uncomfortable on finger tips!

Scent
This has a great earthy scent and a fruity scent combined. It's quite pleasant.

really does leave my face staying smooth all day

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

My face is normally oily so I always try to use cleansers or scrubs that will remove any dirt or oils from my face. A friend of mines told me about this Burt's Bees peach and willowbark deep pore scrub. I ended up liking this scrub a lot, my face felt so much smoother after. I usually wear a lot of foundation on my face so it can be hard to get off but not with this face scrub. It has a thick texture and it has granules in it that were a little big. It smelled just like peaches and it really went deep into my pores cleaning it to make my face feel refreshed. My face felt really clean and I had no left over makeup up on my face. This scrub doesn't lather like soap its more of an exfoliating scrub that removes dead skin cells and old makeup. I noticed my face didn't seem so oily anymore and my face was really soft. I rarely get any breakouts when I use this face scrub which is great. I really love this scrub and to be honest I really do recommend it to anybody especially if you have an oily face like mines. It doesn't clog your pores and its very gentle to use everyday.

Wonderful smell for a wonderful product

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

I bought this product when I needed an exfoliator. The smell is what originally sold me on it, it has a wonderful peachy scent. I use the product about once or twice a week after I've washed my face and I really love the results I've had from it. It is grainier than other exfoliators and really does give that "deep clean" feel. I use a clarisonic daily and use this product twice a week to give an even deeper clean. It's also nice here in Florida as I am frequently battling dry skin either from peeling or just because of being in air all day. It is not drying either, which is something I always worry about from face products.

Effectiveness
Definitely delivers on a deep clean and my pores look much better after using it

Ease of Application
A little goes a long way and it's easy to control how much you use. I use it in the shower and it easy to wash off.

Scent
Has a delicious peach scent, smells like a peach right off the tree!

Peach & Willbowbark are nice in this Deep Pore Scrub.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

I wasn't too impressed with this facial wash to be honest. It didn't help my face at all. I don't really have acne, or black heads at all- but I thought this would work well for my skin mostly because it's naturally, and I thought it would make a good exfoliation product. The smell isn't too fantastic. It actually kind of smelled weird, and a little bit gross. I didn't like it much at all. Also, it doesn't make your skin feel softer or smoother at all. It kind of makes your skin feel stiff, and like... a little bit oily maybe? I don't have oily skin at all! I actually have pretty dry skin, and this made it feel really stiff and like greasy. I didn't like the scrubby-ness either. It was pretty scratchy, and not smooth at all. The price isn't horrific or anything- but I usually like Burt's Bee's products, especially their 'Milk and Honey Lotion' so I was surprised that I didn't like this product. I am not a huge fan of their facial products, at least the 3 or 4 of them I have tried and this was definitely my least favorite out of the ones of theirs I have tried. I really just didn't like this, I would rather use something from Alba if I am going to the natural, even if it is a buck or two more.

Burt's Bees Deep Pore Scrub is my #1 face product.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

I am a recent convert to Burt's Bees products.  I have tried just about every facial cleanser out there, but I do not like all the extra unpronouncable ingredients contained in most of them.  The first time I tried Burt's Bees Deep Pore cleanser I was instantly hooked.  It does a great job of really getting in there and scrubbing those pores, but it's not so harsh as to be aggravating.  I have sensitive skin so this was definitely a plus for me.  It is also remarkably less expensive than a lot of cleansers out there.  Do your pores and the environment a favor and give Burt's Bees a try!

Get Bee-utiful skin with Burt's Bees!

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

I love Burt's Bees products-they're all-natural, inexpensive, and work great. The Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub is no exception-it's a great product.

I have sensitive skin-many exfolitants, especially if they're gritty scrubs, can aggravate my skin.  This scrub is gritty, but the finely ground peach stone has never irritated my skin.  It's actually creamy-it feels oily with the peach stone mixed in.  In addition, this is gentle enough to use everyday. I use it at night and use a different cleanser in the morning.

This product is also all-natural. It bills itself as being 98.43% natural with the finely ground peach stone exfoliating the skin, while willowbark and golden seal help clear pores.  It also contains ginger and sea algae extracts to revitalize your skin and replenish essential minerals.  The end result is that skin looks and feels clean.  Dead cells are sloughed away and your skin will get clearer.

If you're looking for a great scrub, this is the one for you! I use this along with the Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream in the morning and my skin has never looked better.

WOW! I felt refreshed and smelled like a fresh Georgia peach.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:

Must have hit wrong buttons in the About section: It's Burt's Bees products. sorry about that)

My daughter had gotten this Burt's Bees little sample pack for Christmas, lotions and balms, cutical creams, and this peach and willowbark deep pore scrub, that had me at the smell. She is a faithfull user of Clearasil, so she asked if I wanted the scrub. I like Burt's Bees products, so I said yea I would give it a try. The smell is intoxicating, fresh peach, makes you crave a peach! There are little beads mixed in the scrub, that you can feel clean penetrate, and exfoliate your skin, my face not only smelled fresh, but also felt fresh, tighter, and smooth. I love the feel as I am cleaning my skin, you can feel the beads, but not abrasive or harsh. No dryness or irritation after using. Just soft smooth and refreshed great smelling skin.

** Its a natural scrub that uses finely ground peach stone to exfoliate, the Willowbark to remove oils.**

**Wont clog pores. PH Balanced.**
