A little bit of background before I start...

I have always looked pretty young for my age. In fact, up until a couple of years ago (even when I had babies) I got carded at the movie theater and ALWAYS got carded for drinks. People have told me I look 25 for years now. The thing is, I dont think it has anything to do with my face. I am just petite. When you are 5'2" and 100lbs, people generally think you are 12. Regardless of the reason, I loved looking young. :)

That is... until recently. I dont look young anymore.  In the last year, I have been able to (1) walk straight into bars (2) been told by business associates that we are "the same age" (3) been asked if I am my Mom's sister. (4) been told I look way older than my husband. Okay, now seriously. I needed to get help. What happend to "are you 25?"

So, I high tailed it to the store to find a better face cream. I generally like burts bees products-- I use the Burts Bee baby products because of their natural, organic ingredients-- so that's where I started. I have to admit that I didnt do much research and I wish we had the anti-aging guide up to help me. But we didnt. So, I just stuck with what I knew.

I saw that the Burt's Bee brand had an Antiaging cream called Naturally Ageless Night Cream. Hhhmmmm.... Bingo. I need that! For $25, not too bad, I was out the door and on my way home to a more youthful look.

Within 3 weeks of using Burts Bees Naturally Ageless Night Cream, my husband tells me I look at least 10 years younger. Okay, he is making fun of me. But, I do feel like my skin is in better shape. It's probably because I actually have a regime and am keeping my skin more hydrated. The other potential is that I am now using all natural skin care products. You gotta believe that is better for you.

So, whatever the reason, my skin looks better. Not ageless or 25, but better. The naturally ageless cream is a night cream and very thick. So, plan to feel a little sticky for a while afterward. It is also 99.6% natural and made from pomegranate seed and white birch bark. Apparently, pomegranate is not only popular in martinis. hehehehehe.

I'm by no means a beauty expert. It's shocking that I even make time for a night cream. However, I would definitely try it. It's natural, it's reasonably priced skin care and it is making my skin look better! And, the best part, you only need 2 minutes a night to clean and hydrate your skin.

I've tried some of their things. Sticky, huh? Greasy at all? I love trying natural products. They are better for us and better for the environment. I used to hear about looking younger too. I'm doing more of a nightime regime too. You still look very young. :)

In response to Jolie's comment from Apr 25, 2008 at 11:30AM:

My favorite is the carrot lotion. It says something like for "dry old skin." It's nicer than that (-: But that's the idea. I'm not very dry, but I still like that. Smells like carrot cake.

Hi Jolee! I have recently found something I've felt is working too and will post a review for it as soon as I get a chance, but I will surely also look into yours. I have fairly good skin and always have had but suddenly I aged dramatically too. The lines and wrinkles that used to go away 15 minutes after waking up started to stay permanently. A few things helped minutely but nothing really made a big difference until recently. I'm probably a lot older than you are too! oh...I heard BB products are a good price on Amazon.com.

If you have a Target, they now carry the whole line. I think it is a little cheaper there. But, yes Whole Foods has it too. They have a great skin care line. A friend of mine recently told me that she went for a facial and the woman said to buy Burts Bees too!

They make Burt's Bees in North Carolina (-: Some of my students work there in the summer. I'll have to tell them that you like this one.

I've never used a face cream. I'm now 63 and until a few months ago had to show my drivers license to get my senior discount. I'm thinking it's time to try this Burt's Bees face cream. Thanks for the opinion.

Hi Jolie, You've got my attention!! Seems like we share a similar experience. I was used to being told I look 19 for the past decade.... well, that was until my baby and I "look tired" all the time. I am going to look into this Burt's Bees... I see their products all the time at the Whole Foods/Farmer's Market stores. Thank you for the very informative review....by the way, you look absolutely GREAT in ur pic!!

Not into this cream because I like the more advanced stuff (because I am more advanced in age. of course) but any regime is better than none and you DO look 25!!

Seems like aging gracefully only works to a certain point then its reverses itself over night. I know I had it happen one day I was 25 the next I was gray and.....OLD...lol ;)

I will have to pass this along to my sister who is a big BB's fan (that is if she's not already down with it:)!
