I never had a problem with acne, until I hit about 25 years old.  I have tried many many things that cost more money than they are worth.

I was spending 60$ a month on this program that did what it said it would do, but I found I was still getting those problem pimples that are under the skin.  I was introduced to Burts Bees and let me tell you after 2 weeks, I had noticable, and visible changes to my skin.  After 1 month, my acne was gone.  I love this stuff, it is 99.4 % natural, ( makes you wonder what that other.6 is )  It leaves a glow to my skin that may only be noticable to me, but...

Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Gel Cleanser was my first experience with this well known product brand.  I've been fortunate as a Bzz Agent to receive the kit in turn for reviews and spreading the news.  I always heard "Great Testimonies" about Burt's Bees so I was excited to try these items.  I've always had very sensitive skin and as a teenager had frequent breakouts but also had trouble with many of the treatments available at that time.  If anything had perfume or different additives...I'd break out in a horrible rash from that.  So I was darned if I did and darn if I had...

So i previously wrote a review for Burt's Bees Spot treatment and now for the facial cleanser. I got both as a product sample from BzzAgent as a previous reviewer did and I would say i'm pretty much opposite her on most things. The cleanser works great for my skin which is both oily and sensitive. I am very particular on the facial cleansers I can use and they either don't work at all because they're too sensitive or they just dry out my skin or leave bad residue, but Burts Bees gel cleanser does none of those. It works to prevent future blemish breakouts and it works great in overall cleaning...

The Acne Solutions Targeted Spot Treatment smells horrible in m opinion. Its very earthy, medicinal and doens't wash off hands as easily as I would have liked. Does the product work? Like a charm. In one use I've noticed a huge change in my acne. The acne that was red and sore just yesterday is drying up and no longer hurts. This is amazing! Also just the acne spots are drying not my entire fae which I have found to be an issue with Clean & Clear products. The resulsts of this product far out weigh the negatives. I LOVE that Burt's Bees products aren't tested on animals, and this cleanser is no exception. I received a sample of this product through BzzAgent, and I'm glad I did! Burt's Bees is known for their lipgloss, but they will shortly be known for their acne treatments.

It's crazy to think of all the chemicals in regular acne cream and cleansers, especially with everything being so close to your eyes and lips. This cleanser is free of all of that, and leaves your face feeling fresh and clean, without a residue or over-drying effect.

burt bees acne solution gel cleanser isn't really a gel...well, it is too liquid-y to be one, so applying it is quite a hassle because it runs down your face quickly. Also, make sure you don't soak and drench your face with water when getting ready to apply the gel because it won't be effective. I was actually thinking of applying the cleanser on a tooth brush and then rubbing on my face but i don't know if that is a good idea. I've been using this product for about a month now and I've seen an improvement in my complexion so far.  This product doesn't dry out my skin, but still leaves it feeling clean and fresh.

The soap itself is more liquidy than gel-like, so it's a bit deceptive; but it lathers up very well and a little bit goes a long way.  The natural scents are great, definitely better than the chemical smells of other products.

This product is a little more pricey than other drug store brands, but in comparison to other natural products, this is prices average to less than average, and sometimes my local drug...

using this cleanser makes my skin feel soft and with no irritiation, what I like most about the cleanser is that it was not tested on animals and smells fantastic.

At first i was a bit sceptic, i have used tons of face washes and nothing has cleared up my face, I am a bzzagent so i got a firsthand look at the product, When i used it i was amazed, it made my face smell good it was non oily and it started to clear up my face in about a week.

Got this free with the spot treatment, been using it with my normal facial cleaner, and it works well. It has a different texture to the cleanser, but overall not bad.
