Burt's Bees Marshmellow Vanishing Cream is an awesome, light cream that is great to use as a primer foundation before you apply makeup.  The vanishing cream goes on very light and does seem to magically vanish into the skin.  When I got married, I used this cream before I put on any makeup (I did my own makeup) and it really gave me a glowing, flawless and polished look.  It feels great on your skin and is very moisturizing.  I happen to like the smell which isn't overpowering and I found it to be gentle on my skin.  A couple drawbacks, it doesn't contain sunscreen so if you wanted to put a lotion with sunscreen on you may find it a little too thick.  My powder makeup contains sunscreen so this isn't a problem for me.  It's also a little expensive although a little bit will go a long way so even though the jar is small it may last a couple months.  Overall, I am a mininamalist with makeup so I like using it to make my skin glow without having to apply foundation. I use Burt's Bees Marshmellow Vanishing Creme on my face when I have really rough dry flakey patches. **I don't use this creme everyday.** I only use it when my skin is flakey dry. I usually exfoliate the dry area of my face with a gentle cleanser and then apply the vanishing creme to that area only. My dry flakey skin instantly disappears. Burt's Bees creme does not wear off. I apply it once to the affected area and that area stays nice and smooth all day (no flakey patches reappear). I have super dry sensitive skin and this creme doesn't cause me to break out or have redness due to irritation. This creme is one of the only moisturizers I've found that works well with my dry sensitive skin. A small amount of this creme goes a long way. I love the soft sweet scent of this creme as well. I would recommend this creme to anyone with dry sensitive skin on their face.

I really love this product! It's just the right amount of moisture with the most delightful marshmallow scent. It hasn't broken me out and is perfect for daytime wear. There's just one drawback, they but sodium borate (borax) in it. :( It's actually illegal in Canada to put borax in cosmetics, and even the Soviets linked it to cancer back in 1974. So why in the world is this toxic ingredient in a Burt's Bees product? I emailed them and asked. They said they have since changed the formula and offered to exchange mine for the new formulation. I was totally excited until the new product arrived today: sodium borate is still in the mix. :(

Burt's Bees has many good products, and many not-so-good products, in my opinion. I put this Marshmallow Vanishing Cream in the not-so-good category. This is called vanishing cream (according to the box) because it vanishes into your skin. I have to disagree. The product is a thick cream that seemed to lay on top of my skin, keeping it shiny and uncomfortable all day. It also made the hair around my face greasy-looking after it come into contact with my skin. Even if I only used a tiny amount, it produced the same effect. It may do better for extremely dry skin. The one thing they did right was the fragrance -very light and pleasant. I finally gave up on using this product on my face because of the greasiness. Instead of just throwing it away I decided to try it on my extremely dry hands overnight. I must say it worked great! I think the product is too heavy for delicate facial skin, but just right for hands.

I love Burt's Bee products. They are all natural, great quality, and smell absolutely fantastic. And, the marshmallow vanishing cream is no exception. The pros of this product are that all the ingredients are high quality and all natural. This facial cream contains ingredients like sunflower and grapeseed oil for moisturizing, rose water and marshmallow root extract for age control, and a slight banana fragrance that is so refreshing. In addition, this cream does work well in terms of continously moisturizing and leaving skin pliable. On the con side, after several usages it did cause a bit of pore clogging for me. And, it does go on a bit heavy compared to some of the other moisturizers that I've used. The price is also a bit higher than some more common moisturizers. Many stores do not carry this product, so it's a bit of an inconvenience having to plan ahead of time to order online. Overall I think this is average, but a much healthier alternative to many moisturizing creams.

I am reviewing Burt's Bees marshmallow vanishing creme. As a frequent dry skin sufferer, i am constantly trying new products to alleviate my sensitive skin. I tried The Marshmallow vanishing creme and it's good for getting your skin out of a tight fix...When my skin needs to get out of the dry stage then this products works well...however, i find that if i use it past that point then my skin will break out and becomes a little greasy feeling. I would say that this moisturizer is good to have on hand for those especially dry days but, i would not recommend using it everyday. It has a very pretty pastel packaging and a very pleasant smell. When your skin is dry it can work wonders, but, like i said, i would not use it much past that. I've always enjoyed Burt's Bees products, and the fact that this product is mostly natural is a plus. It doesn't have any parabens like a lot of other products, but, bottomline, it's good for ''those dry days''.

I love using natural products, especially the burt's bees line. I thought the packaging was very cute and the smell was okay... like marshmallows or bananas and cream. I tried this product as a night cream. It was fine the first few nights. But after a while my skin broke out a little bit. My skin is quite sensitive. I was hoping this product would work well during the winter months when my skin is especially dry. I couldn't use it as a face cream and instead used it as a hand cream, which worked well for me. The cream is rich, which is perfect for my hands, but too rich for my face.

This cream is soooo smooth and light.  It goes on and REALLY vanishes!  It's a great product for those of us that don't like to feel a heavy cream on our face after we moisturize.  It's another great product by Burt's Bees.  I love that it's all natural and never, ever tested on animals!!!!!!  Great buy, too.

I am a huge fan of Burt's Bees and regularly use many of their products for skin, body, nails, and hair.  I love their Radiance Day Creme but wanted something more moisturizing for night time, especially as winter approaches.  I like their Radiance Night Creme but it still just didn't seem to satisfy my extreme winter dry skin.   So I bought the Vanishing Marshmallow Cream and it's great!   It has an amazing smell - like bananas and marshmallows - sometimes the scent is a bit much at first but it fades as the cream dries.  FYI it does take a long time to fully absorb (sometimes an hour) so unless you have very dry skin, this product is not for you.    It's best to put on right before you go to bed.  When I wake up in the morning I don't feel any tightness or dryness, and don't see any dry patches.   I follow up by simply splashing my face with warm and then cool water and start over with my daytime routine.

I absolutely love this cream!  I do not really understand why it is called "vanishing" cream but it sure is wonderful.  I love it because it moisturizes very well without being greasy.  It is a light cream with a nice, subtle scent which is hard to describe.  I use it everyday, both in the morning and in the night.  I also love using it because it uses more natural ingredients (which Burt's Bees is known for doing), which I feel better using for my skin and my body.  I also do not need to use a lot of it when I apply it, so the small container does last a long time, which is nice, because this cream is a little expensive (at least for me).  I also love it because it does not make me break out with acne, which is very important for me.  And, the moisturizing seems to last most of the day.  My skin has never felt better since I have started using Burth's Bees Vanishing Cream.  I highly recommend it!
