I just love the Burt's Bees Lemon Poppy Seed Facial Cleanser. It leaves my skin really smooth and smells great too!! I've been using this product for a while now and have switched back and forth between this and others, but always find myself wanting to go back to the Burt's Bees line of products. I love that there are no harsh chemicals, etc. in any of the Burt's Bees products - making this a great product if you have sensitive skin, or are just consicious of what you use on your face daily. I love the exflolients in the poppy seeds - they lightly exfloliate the skin, leaving it smooth. The one complaint I do have though (and it's a small one) are the poppy seeds. They are hard to wash off your face and they tend to get stuck under my nails - but it's not that big of an issue. The smell is great too! Very light and refreshing. I love how my face feels after using this cleanser - not harsh and leaving your skin feeling tight after washing. I would recommend this product to anyone.

The first time I saw this product was in my college convenient store sitting next to the register. I have always had a hard time with my acne so I am willing to give different things a try now and then to help get rid of those unwanted blimmishes. I bought it even though the price was pretty high and took it home trying it that night. I loved the way it smelled as soon as I opened it. However after using the product for about two weeks I was sadly dissapointed when it did not make a diffrence in my acne at all. It did make my skin a little softer, but other than that my acne came and went as often as usual. The one annoying thing about the product is the little poppy seeds that are inside. When you wash your face you cannot just splash water on your face to get the soap off, but usually you have to grab a rag and pysically wipe each little poppy seed off. They really like to get stuck in any little wrinkle in your face so you alway have to check to make sure you got them all. All in all I would say the product is not worth buying unless you just like your face to smell like lemon pie.

I love Burt's Bees products! I had just switched products and by first use, i was hooked! It cleanses and exfoliates in one step, it smells great and leaves you feeling great! It moisturizes with a heavy cream yet comes off light and refreshing! the lemon really helps with skin glow and the poppy seed is great for exfoliation. Great thing is, it's organic! however, a little goes a long way, if you use too much it can make your face look greasy, or shiney. It definately helped with blemishes but now my face is clean and feels fantastic! Also, i use it first in the morning, which the product helps me wake up with! Which is kinda Great! It moisturizes so well you don't even need another moistureizer for your skin. it literally has the work of multiple products in one. so rather than using about 50 products to get ready in the morning, all you really need is Burt's Bees Lemon Poppy Seed Facial Cleanser!

I love this product for the fact that it's natural and makes my skin feel soft, however the negatives about it are enough that I've gotten it once and won't be getting it again. It comes in a nice glass jar and looks nice and creamy. However, the smell isn't too nice...to me it smells like lemon mostly with a hint of cod liver oil smell. (I know...yuck...but to be fair it's only the slightest hint of that scent and I'm not sure if others will smell it or not). When you put it on, it feels good. I love the idea of using poppy seeds as natural exfoliants. But when you go to wash it off...it's so hard to get off! It feels like you put butter on your face and are trying to wash it off. The water runs right over your face like water over a waxed apple. I think I've even used soap on my face afterwards to get rid of the "buttery" feel...which basically defeated the purpose of using this product in the first place!  Again, to be fair, I used this product a few years ago, so they might have changed their formula since then.

Natural Beauty. I love most of Burt's Bees products. The lemon poppy cleanser is refreshing to smell. The combination of the slight acidity of lemon combined with poppy seeds for manual exfoliation work well together. You feel squeeky clean! Not outrageously expensive. I just have this strange craving for a lemon poppy muffin.

    I love Burt's Bees lemon poppy seed facial cleanser. So much so that I've purchased almost every skin care product they make so that I could compare and choose the one that worked best for me. This product did a good job of cleansing my skin. However, it was next to impossible to rinse off. I prefer to just rinse with water, but with this, I HAD to use a washcloth to scrub it off. Then I couldn't rinse it off of my washcloth. I used toner nearly every time I used this product to remove the residue that it left behind. My skin did look good, but I prefer products that are easier to rinse. what i look most about it  that it cleanse and exfoliate in one step! Lemon oil and yucca extract naturally remove makeup and inpurities while poppy seeds gently exfoliate delicate facial skin. It's rich in moisturizing botanical oils and vitamins that leave your skin refreshed and revived.

This is a wonderful cleanser for dry or mature skin types.  I love the exfoliation factor from the poppy seeds.  Works best when removed with a damp washcloth. Smells absolutely wonderful and made by a top-notch natural beauty brand.
