I have always had problems with my nails because of the constant washing of dishes, typing on the key pad of a computer and the cold wintry weather we have where I live. My cuticles were often dry and my nails brittle. A friend recommended Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Crème 0.6 oz. I purchased it for $4.99 at my local drugstore.
The Facts
Ingredients:
Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Lemon Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate & Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Cocoa Butter, Candelilla Wax, Rosemary Extract, Beta Carotene
My Experience
When I popped open this little can of cuticle creme, I was impressed with the lemony scent. I was expecting more of a creme consistency and was surprised to see a clear balm like solution. I took a fingertip full and began to massage it into and around my nails. It was a bit greasy but I could see a difference in my cuticles and nails immediately. My cuticles felt smoother and my nails looked shiny. Within a few days of using it day and night, I can honestly say there really was a difference in the appearance of my cuticles and nails. A few months ago, I had some acrylic nails removed and my natural nails underneath were thin and damaged. They looked awful. I religiously used this cuticle creme day and night and within about a week and a half, there was a huge improvement.
My Final Viewpoint
Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme is an effective, natural solution to dry cuticles and cracked fingertips. It works great and is affordable. I recommend this product and give it a 5 star rating.
