Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm Review

Like many people I enjoy products that are natural.  That is why I enjoy Burt's Bees products so much.  Most of the products there are 100 percent natural and the ones that are not are usually at least 90 percent natural.

I have long been a fan of Burt's Bees lip balms.  There are a few different ones to choose from.  One of them is the Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm.  I see this near the checkout counters at many stores, usually next to the Chap Stick, but you can usually find it in the beauty aisle of most stores.  I happened to have gotten mine in a Burt's Bees kit along with several other products.

Burt's Bees Lip Balm comes in a 15 oz tub, which is about the same size as your average Chap Stick tube.

The Lip Balm has a lot of ingredients in it that are good for soothing, healing, and keeping lips healthy, including honey, beeswax, shea butter, almond oil, cocoa butter, and lanolin.  The ingredients are as follows.

beeswax, helianthus annuus sunflower seed oil, cocos nucifera coconut oil, lanolin, symphytum officinale comfrey root extract, flavor, honey, tocopheryl acetate, rosmarinus officinalis rosemary leaf extract, tocopherol.

To apply it, you just simply swipe it over your lips like you would any lip balm or Chap Stick.

I like this Lip Balm, it has a nice wax like coating feeling, but it is not too wax like, it also feels soft and moist, and makes my lips feel soft and moist.  There is just the faintest smell of honey when you are wearing them, and also just the slightest taste of honey.  You don't get over whelmed by the honey taste, but yet you can taste just enough of it, which is really pleasant.

Obviously if you don't like honey, the smell or the taste of it, this is not for you.  But if you enjoy the taste and smell of honey will likely enjoy this

If I had to make one complaint is that it does not have any sun protection in it, so if you will be spending a lot of time outdoors you will need to use something else to protect  your lips from the sun.

I recommend Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm, it is great for sore chapped lips, or just for lips that you want to protect, or just help feel moist, with just a slight hint of sweet flavour.  I have been very pleased with this product.
