My feet tend to be dry, cracked, and generally a disaster area all throughout the year. I run around all day at work and then come home to run around after the various foster cats/dogs. I have gotten into a routine where I give myself a pedicure every Monday night. I soak them, scrub them, file them, and, finally, slather them in foot cream. I bought Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme about three weeks ago as I waited for some prescriptions to be filled. I've used it several times now and am pretty impressed.
This product is 99.40% natural, according to the label. It contains vegetable glycerin, olive oil, oat flour, lanolin, super-saturated coconut oil, vitamin E, and a few other ingredients. This Coconut Foot Creme is unique because it is translucent and more of a thick oil than a rich cream. You don't have to use nearly as much of this stuff as you would with other foot lotions and creams; a quarter-sized amount is enough to thoroughly moisturize each foot. It does a very nice job of moisturizing and softening my dry, cracked feet. In fact, it's probably one of the top three foot creams that I've ever used.
The one obnoxious thing about using this product is the greasiness. It takes me over ten minutes to really work it into each foot enough to be able to put socks on after using this moisturizer. When you are finished applying it to feet, Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme leaves hands greasy and slimy... so much so that you need to wipe them off with a towel and then wash them with soap and water. I like to cover my feet in moisturizer and then snuggle under the covers to go to sleep. I can't do that with this product because I have to deal with the slimy, greasy layer that it leaves behind on my hands.
I paid $8.99 for a 4.3 ounce tube of Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme. I find this price to be completely resonable since it works so well and you only need a small amount for each use. I definitely will be buying this product again.
