Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme Review

During the winter, my feet are constantly dry, cracked, and rough.  I go through oodles of creams and lotions - taking special care to ensure that my feet are happy and healthy.  Although I like a variety of existing products, I haven't found one that really meets all of my needs.

Because I had had some luck with Burt's Bees in the past, I decided to see how their Coconut Foot Creme would work on my feet.

The verdict - well - very mixed.  While I very much enjoyed the scent of the creme, I found that applying it and going on with the rest of my life to be very difficult to do. 

• It's SO thick - thick as vaseline and applying it to your feet is quite a chore.  It's doesn't glide on very easily.
• It doesn't seem to absorb as easily or quickly as other foot cremes.
• Trying to get my socks up and over my feet (so that they can marinate in the moisturizing goodness) is difficult.  I sometimes wonder how much of it actually stays on my foot - as opposed to transfering directly to my sock.
• After apply, I can't seem to get the stuff off of my hands!  A greasy residue seems to go with me, wherever I go.  Even soap and water aren't even enough to remove this vaseline-oriented mixture - from my paws.

In the end, even though it doesn't eventually soften and nourish my feet, you're better off looking for another product that is just as effective but is less of a hassel to apply.
