Even though this product is advertised as a day cream, I found it a little heavy, so I use it as a night cream and I am really, really happy with it. Even if you use just a little (I dab it on) it's quite effective. I especially like to use it around my eyes (crows feet) and my lips where I have more fine lines. But I also use it as an all over facial cream or moisturizer. It's creamy, and I like the color (which doesn't show on your skin; it blends in fine). You can really see the carrot in it! Effectiveness I'm finding, now that I'm trying to switch to more natural products and buying from less commercial companies, that this product, while simple and with simple ingredients, really works well. I'm happily surprised. I have really noticed a difference with little fine lines on my face that are getting less and less noticeable. Ease of Application Couldn't be any easier! Just open the jar and dab it where you want and then rub it in. The jar shapes makes it very easy to get to the very last drop in the container. I like that, so I know absolutely none goes to waste. Scent I really like the slight carrot aroma you get whenever I open the jar.

I love Burt's Bees products but I do not like this one at all. I bought this because I like the idea of the antioxidants this cream has. This creme will not absorb into my skin! My face stays very sticky for hours. I have never had this problem with any creme before. It has clay as one of the ingredients and I can smell the clay in it which does not bother me really. My skin is drier in the winter so I will keep this jar and try it again in the winter. Maybe my skin will absorb it then.

Let me start out by saying I am a fan of Burt's Bees products. I recently started using the Carrot Nutritive Day Creme. It has taken a little getting used to the non chemical scent of it. Having grown up using products with artifical fragance a natural fragance is sometimes a surprise if I am half awake when using the Carrot Creme. It feels great going on, moisturizes my skin but doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I seem to have fewer issues with T Zone oiliness. Even with the cold winter air my skin doesn't seem as dry as it used to. My only complaint with it is I don't like products that I have to put my fingers into to use. I prefer a pump or squeeze bottle for skin care and cosmetic products. I think it's a fine line to walk between environmentally friendly packagaing versus keeping products sanitary once they are opened. I am sure I will buy this again as I find myself using more and more products from Burt's Bees.
