Burt's Bees Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion Review

Burt's Bees is a neat company located now in North Carolina. They are best known for lip balm but also make lotions and now some make up.

My favorite Burt's Bees product is the Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion. It softens and also smells heavenly. The scent is my favorite thing about Carrot Lotion. But, for some reason, my youngest son really hates the smell. When he put on the lotion, he gagged. I don't know of anyone else who reacts this way, but I thought I should mention it.

I use carrot lotion on my elbows mostly. For some reason, I tend to be dry on the elbows. Overall, my skin is soft, but the elbows are rough if I'm not careful. This product is marketed for mature and sun-exposed skin, so it works great for problem areas.

Burt's Bees uses natural ingredients. In the Carrot Lotion they include Vitamin E (a favorite around here) and also Beta Carotene.

Some of my students work for Burt's Bees during the summer. They like the company. Things like that have an impact on my buying. I like to buy from companies that treat people right.

I called and talked to them once at Burt's Bees, and they sent a bottle for my office, so students could try out Burt's Bees. They didn't have sample packs. We ran an article on the product line, so students could just drop by and try the lotion if they wanted. It's a small school, so that worked out.

I like the small town feel of Burt's Bees and like that they use natural ingredients. I especially like the Carrot Lotion. I wish my son didn't hate the smell. I guess I will not bake him a carrot cake either.
