When my kids had diaper rash, I didn't want to use chemicals or anything harsh on my babies' skin. Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment promised to be a great solution. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and effectively Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment took care of diaper rash- even the most severe ones. The tube is no longer in metal as it was when I first started using it, but now it is in plastic tubes and made from different ingredients, but still pretty effective. Performance Not only does Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment soothe and heal diaper rash quickly, it also works on prickly heat, and on adult chafing, especially in the summer. I always keep a tube of Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment in our house for the entire family to use. Any form of rashes or chafing are greatly helped with this ointment not just for diaper rash. I found that in diaper rash it only took a day or two of this ointment before it would kick in and the skin would return to normal. Only on a few occasions did I find it to take a few more days but never more than a week. I have used Burt's Bees Baby Bee for everything from summer chafing for men in the family to female rawness as well. I have also used it for the underwire area on bras when some chafing happens from heat and perspiration. It works beautifully!

I love this stuff! I got this as a gift with my second child and I wish I would have tried it sooner. I love it! It goes on so nicely and has a nice natural scent unlike the chemical scent most of them have these days. There is not another product that works as good as this one does. I have tried about every other diaper rash cream there is and somehow the Burt's Bees Diaper Rash Ointment works. For years my daughter ALWAYS had rashes and I could never find anything that worked until this. I put it on her and within 24 hours her rash was GONE and didn't come back as long as I put a little on her once or twice a day. I couldn't believe it!!!! A natural product worked better than all the others. Plus it is natural so you dont have to feel bad for putting chemicals on there fragil skin. For me, the key is to use the slightest amount and work well into the skin at a diaper change and on an already dry area, as this product goes a long way to keep your baby rash free.

Now I am sure this doesn't happen to all babies but this was absolutely horrible for my son. He broke out in a terrible red diaper rash and it took several days to get rid of it. He was in a lot of pain from the rash. It also seemed to sting him when I was applying it as well. It is also very very greasy. I didn't want it to be on my fingers let alone in my baby's diaper area. It is also on the pricey side. There are several other ointment s on the market that gets the job done without paying so much for it. I was dissapointed because I really like Burt's Bees products but not this one. Needless to say I only tried this product once and I will never buy it again. I do not recommend this product.

I really love Burt's Bees products and my daughter's pediatrician recommended this ointment when my daughter had her first diaper rash. It really started clearing up the rash after the first application. It goes on smooth, others I tried were either clumpy or watery. It didn't wear away, it lasted a really long time and that has to be good because if it just wipes right off how is it suppose to help, right? It doesn't have that medicinal smell like some of the other brands do and I like that. It didn't seem to bother my daughter, as in stinging or anything like that. Who wants to cause their child more discomfort anyway? I like the fact that it is an all natural product, too. About the only thing I could say negatively is that it does cost a bit more, but then again, you get what you pay for.

I have used Burts Bees Diaper Rash Ointment for both of my boys.  I love it!  I love how thick it is and I love the smell.  And most importantly, it really works!!  In fact, I also use A&D Ointment, but typically on milder rashes.  When my boys get really bad rashes, out comes the Burts Bees.  Unfortunately one of the main reasons for this is cost.  My only negative is that it is a little pricey, but I understand since it is an all natural product and you should have to pay for that type of quality.  But since we would go through a tube a week, I limit my uses to medium to severe rashes.  I have also used this ointment on other skin flare-ups, like red dots or mild rashes.  It soothes and heals whatever's going on.  It must be all the nutrients and vitamins that are in the product to really help it go beyond just diaper rashes, but reach a broader spectrum of skin problems!  I would recommend Burts Bees diaper ointment to everyone!

Burts bees diaper ointment is on of the two diaper ointments (other being Boudreaux's butt paste) we use on my two year old son. The smell is great not medicinal like others which is a big plus. Its texture is a little weird but it really seems to do the job, in his two years he has had only one or two semi bad rashes so that is a pretty good endorsement. The packaging is very attractive though it is hard to get the last bit out and I wish they made really large tubes of it. They very rarely have coupons or sales on the ointment and it is expensive so that is a big downside. The daycare ladies at my sons school comment how they really like it and I think they reccomend it to other moms. I like that it is natural, we try to use as few chemicals on my sons skin as possible since he has excema and sensative skin. Since it is so expensive I only buy it every other time I go to the store alternating it with the cheaper and still pretty good boudreaux's.

First off, I LOVE Burt's Bees products. I commend any company that chooses to produce all natural products! Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment is WONDERFUL! I received a tube of this at my baby shower, then when the time came to use it I was very happy! It works very well on a sore but and with no harsh ingredients! I would never use other products that contain vaseline! Why? Because #1 the skin CANNOT ABSORB vaseline.  So why its in a product that is supposed to be healing a rash I will never understand. And #2, do you even know what vaseline is? Its REFINED MOTOR OIL!! Shocked? Not on my babies backside! No way! I can honestly say this product works. Yes, its a bit more expensive. But I am a firm believer in what you pay for is what you get. And the last thing you want to be dealing with is an unhappy baby due to a sore bum. There aren't much sadder things in the world than having you baby cry because their bum hurts!

 I was happy to find this product becuase my baby has sensative skin.  Unfortuately there is something in it take irratates his little bottom so we have stopped using it.  I thought for sure since it was an all nautural product it would work for us.  I love Burts bees but it doesn't love my babies bottom :(  I have a friend that uses it and loves it so for that I would still recomend it to others.

I had twins three years ago and tried several diaper creams and ointments for them.  No matter what I used, they had frequent flare-ups of diaper rash.  When I had another baby this year, I did not want to go through the same struggle with oily, stinky, ineffective products, so I did a lot of research.  Burt's Bees Baby Bee Ointment got great reviews so, even though it is more expensive than other creams, I decided to try it.  And boy, am I glad I did!  My baby is now 6 months old and this is the only diaper ointment I have used on her or ever will.  I use a small amount at night and if I notice any redness starting to creep in, and she has never had a diaper rash!  A small amount of ointment goes pretty far, and it forms such a good barrier that I can still see the white layer protecting her skin when I take the soggiest diapers off in the mornings.  While some people may not like the smell of this ointment, I love it.  She smells like a little herb garden instead of a medicine cabinet, and the cream is not oily, nor does it separate like some ointments I used on my twins.  I wish I had known about this when they were babies, because I know it would have spared them a lot of discomfort.  I recommend this ointment to people all the time, and it will be one of my staple baby shower gifts!

We only use natural products on my 18 month old daughter and this is the only diaper rash ointment we will ever use on her. I actually love the small and it is not sticky or really greasy. It goes on smoothly and has never caused any problems getting it off her skin at the next changing. I like knowing that it is totally, fully, 100% natural and has a pleasant scent. I also like the fact that the cream comes in a tube instead of a jar or other container. It makes diaper changes a hundred times easier and applying the cream easy. We use this cream at every diaper change instead of waiting for a rash to show up. The cream has helped prevent most rashes and you can def tell when we dont use the cream at a diaper change. The cream stays on ther skin for a long time, but is also very easy to remove from the skin with a wet wipe. Spreading on the cream is very easy with the tube. The only con i see in the cream would be that the price is higher than most creams that you can just pick up at a local supercenter store. We actually have to travel to the next town over, about 30 miles in order to grab Burts Bees products, but I fully believe it is worth it just knowing that we are using natural ingredients on our childs skin instead of chemicals. The ointemt seems to be very soothing on her skin even when she does not have a rash. She never makes a face like the cream makes her feel very uncomfortable or anything. The tube is also a great size to keep in a diaper bag for when you are on the go. We actually started with the travel sized kit and then moved up to the larger sized tube. This cream is the only ointment that has worked on our daughter and not caused more problems than we were trying to fix in the first place!! The cream goes on extremely thick and coats the whole surface of her skin with ease! Any rash or even sign of rash would go away in with just one diaper change use of the burts bees diaper ointment. I love that this ointment applies a barrier for any issues that may occur while she is wearing her diaper. We also use the cream on her leg area where the diaper may rub while she is walking.   i seem to always be giving this as a baby shower gift and love to hear the many positive reviews my friends have also. Some do not like the smell, but we just adore it! It is not that baby fresh smell that some give off but more of a clean smell. This cream does an amazing job at staying on the skin and not transfering to the diaper while the baby is moving around crawling, walking or playing.
