Burt's Bees Apricot Baby Oil is worth every penny!

5

I received a small size of the Burt's Bees Apricot Baby Oil as a baby shower gift for my little girl.  After her first bath I was expecting that this would be like every other baby oil.  Boy, was I wrong!  It was nice and thick, and had a beautiful smell to it.  It made my daughter's skin so silky smooth and as a wonderful bonus made her smell so nice. I now use it on my daughter after every bath, right after the Burts Bees Baby Shampoo and Body Wash. Even though I still have a little sample size (that came in a Burt's Bees Baby Trial Size Set) I immediately went out and bought some more.  I didn't want to miss out on this stuff.  I'm still using the little size because a little goes such a long way.  Yes, the cost is quite a bit more than store brand baby oil, but I felt like I could splurge on this little indulgance because it does last so long. I love the stuff so much I have been debating getting some for myself, and using it after my showers.  This stuff is great!

It ain't for Baby! Mama LIKE (LOVES)!

I adore almost (there have been a few duds) every Burt Bee's product. I have been using this oil for around six or seven years, it is one of the first Burt's Bees products I tried. I LOVE IT! I am sure it would be wonderful for baby but my little ones are teens now. I use it in the tub to soak and read, I use it in the shower in the summer on my legs after shaving, I use it straight from the bottle on my hands when they are seriously parched, I add a couple of tablespoons to my regular cocoa butter lotion and boy does that up the ante on how well it moisturizes, used on my windburned lips and face! Seriously what can you not do with this product!!! It smells very delicate and is just a wonderful product! So wether you are expecting a baby, have a baby already or not, this product belongs in your beauty arsenal. It is very affordable and the bottle should last you anywhere from 3-6 months, I just love it, amazing product!

Smells good enough to eat!

The only problem I have with Burt's Bees Apricot Oil is that you may want to eat your baby after applying it to him.  This stuff smells so good!!  I used it when my baby was just weeks old and I still use it today at 6 months old.  The product is made with with natural ingredients as opposed to synthetic scents.  This makes it much better for my baby's skin.  I also like it because the oils are so good for his skin topically, but also good for him as his skin absorbs it into his body. The main thing that I've used Burt's Bees Apricot oil for is my son's cradle cap.  He doesn't have very much to speak of, but I really like to keep it under control.  I put the oil on his head after every bath so that his scalp doesn't get dry. In summary, I believe this to be one of the best moisturizing baby products on the market.

Love it for so many uses!

I first tried Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Baby Oil about 13 years ago when I was pregnant with my son, since my prenatal yoga teacher recommended apricot oil for preventing stretch marks.  Rubbing it on my belly once a day successfully kept away stretch marks through both of my pregnancies.  I now recommend it to everyone I know who is pregnant, and I've given it as a shower gift. Though my youngest child is ten now, I still use it as a moisturizer, bath oil, and massage oil.  It smells terrific, is all-natural, and has never done me wrong.  If you use it as bath oil it will make the tub extremely slippery, though, so be careful and wipe out the tub when you're done. I never actually tried it as a baby oil for my kids, because I didn't see the need to oil them up, but I'm sure it's a much better bet than a lot of the mainstream baby products currently being found to have toxic ingredients.

Burt's Bees Baby Oil is Wonderful

4

My youngest son has a mild case of eczema and really just very sensitive skin. We put a capful or two of Burt's Bees Baby Apricot Oil in the bathtub with him to help hydrate and moisterize his skin. I have to say that it works wonderfully. Since oil and water do not mix, I never actually thought to use oil in the bathtub, but what do you know -my wife says this is something that is done! I am glad we finally have a use for this - we have several bottles of this around the house. It comes with the diaper bag size kit of products and up until now we have not used it at all! It is really easy to do - just pour into the tub when the water is running so it mixes well and then bather the child normally. It leaves a mild but pleasant scent. It really moisterizes the skin. You can feel that right away. The only downside to this product is that it makes the bathtub extremely slippery. You have to wash the bathtub out after each use or else the next person to get in will slip and fall!

Not just for babies

Ive been using burts bees for years and this is one of the first products I ever tried, it made me a life long fan of the brand. It has baby bee in the nap but I have never used it on my baby, I use the body wash, diaper ointment and baby powder on him but I don't get the point of baby oil on a baby. I love the smell of this oil, its absolutly perfect, I also use there lemon bath oil but that leave you smelling like lemon pledge this leave you smelling like a dream. It does have some drawbacks, glass bottles are not the best in the bathroom although the bottles do looks attractive. Ive read on viewpoints that it helps keep away stretchmarks and I wish I would have though of that when I was pregnant. It does make you tub kind of slippery and grimy though, so I only use it every few weeks as a special treat. It is not the easiest of there products to find though, it seems like my target does not always have it in stock.

Great baby oil

4

I bought this oil to use on my sons skin to try and help his mild eczema. While I can't say it really healed his eczema, i think it helped in moisturizing his skin and didn't irritate his skin any further. I used this oil in the bath, a capful or two under running water.  It feels great on baby's skin - on your own too!  It feels like a luxurious oil and is definitely the best oil I've used for skin care.  A little bit goes a long way with this oil, so even though a little bottle is somewhat on the expensive side, it lasts a long time and I feel like you do get your money's worth out of it - and I'm an extremely frugal person. The smell is not overwhelming, it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy, and it's a very nice addition to a warm bath for baby. It is soothing and definitely not irritating in any way. I'd recommend this oil to anybody looking for an alternative to the old standby baby oils.

Smells great!

This stuff is the best! I started using it by recommendation when my daughter had cradle cap. I rubbed a little on her head every day and then stuck a hat on top and it went away very quickly. I have also used this on my baby's skin after bath time. It leaves their skin so smooth and smells wonderful. One other use for this product is using it in homemade baby wipes. I combine it with Burt's Baby Bee Shampoo and Body Wash and water and pour the mixture over a paper towel roll. This makes the sweetest smelling and gentlist baby wipes out there. I love knowing exactly what's in anything I'm putting on my baby's delicate skin. I try to avoid parabens, lauryl sulfates and other unnatural ingredients as much as possible. I am so grateful that Burt's Bees is committed to providing quality products and especially in a baby line like this. This product is espensive to buy regularly but the bottle does last for quite awhile.

Burts Bees is the Best Baby Oil you can get

5

I love baby oil but not the mess it makes. It stays greasy and gets all over everything. I have very dry skin and one of my favorite things to do is pour baby oil in my bath water and soak in it. It doesn't clean out of the tub very well and yes there have been a few slips in the tub because of it. When I was pregnant with one of my kids I received a sample pack of lotion in the mail from Burt's Bees. I had never heard of Burt's Bees before but sought it out after trying the sample. They make Baby Oil!! Apricot at that, It smells wonderful. I had to buy it and it is the best baby oil I have ever used. Yes it much pricier than others but so worth it. It feels so thick but once on it is very light weight. The best part is that it soaks in and does not leave you greasy. I can put in it my bath and it easily cleans out. I have also found that it is great to shave with. My legs have never felt so soft and smooth. It is hard to find in the stores but it can be ordered directly from Burt's Bees website.

Love this stuff!

I just love all of Burts Bees products, but this one is one of my favorites. I got this in a gift set a few years ago and it is sooooo awesome!! It is the yummiest smelling baby oil in the world. I used to use it after every bath when my kids were just little newborns awhile back. The smell of a clean baby wtih apricot oil on them is the best smell in the world. I even liked to use it on my hands. My kids even liked it when I gave them a little massage with it too. The smell isnt to overwhelming either. It is just a little fresh fruit scent that makes you happy. Even my husbands loves this stuff. The only thing because it is a natural product it is a little expensive, but I always find it on sale or something. Just make sure you keep it out of kids reach, I had a very oily toddler once to many times. Kids love the smell to of course so they love to get their hands on it any change they get. :O)
