Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme Review Summary

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme comes in a glass jar and is made almost entirely of natural ingredients. It is a very thick cream and super concentrated. The scent is of almonds but some reviewers report a strange scent after a few minutes on the hands. Luckily, the scent doesn't last long on the hands. This is a heavy cream and great for nighttime use. It can be used during the day; just apply sparingly. The cream will soothe and hydrate dry hands and will even stay on after a hand washing. Best of all, it is almost entirely made of all natural ingredients and the packaging is recyclable. Looking for a hand cream to fit your needs and preferences? Burt's Bees is hit and miss with me. While I like the idea of mostly natural products in recyclable containers, some Burt's Bees products flat out stink. Sometimes in quality and sometimes they REALLY do stink.

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme 2 oz does not stink. In fact, it is fragrant and works well.

The Creme

This creme comes in a glass jar with a metal lid. The creme is white and very thick, thicker than body butter. The scent is like the Jordan Almonds that you get in mesh bags at weddings. It is a sweet almond scent that is quite good. However, it does have a sort of funky scent mixed...

I have been wanting to try Burt's Bees for a looong time. So, finally me and my sister talked our mom into buying a trial set. This product was included. I love the top notes scent but it has a bad after scent. I can't figure out what the scent is but its sour, maybe its the milk? But the main scent smells to me like the Ferrera Rocher(sp?) candy, which is my fave candy. For me it doesn't hydrate any better than most other products, it is greasy at first. The bad after scent goes away quickly but the good almondy candy scent lasts for hours on me.

The almond scent is nice but this creme is chunky (not smooth), hard to smooth evenly on skin, gets under the nails when trying to get it out of the container, and is a lot like crisco (see ingredients= they are very food-ie)

I recently bought a jar of Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme, and have been using it for about 2 weeks now.

You don't need to use very much, and I don't think you'd want to use very much, because a little goes a long way. It is a "greasy" kind of creme, but I feel like it's putting a protective coating on my hands. I use it at night, so it's really not a problem for me, and I feel like I'm giving my hands an intensive night treatment. You do not need to use gloves to use it at night, it's not that greasy, and it absorbs pretty quickly. It really feels great when you use it, it makes your...

Oh my gosh! Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme works great! I got this lotion after a free sample and I did not realize how great it worked! My hands were so smooth. I really like the smell, too.The scent may not be for everyone. If you like the smell of alond then you will like it. If not do not bother becasue the scent is really strong.

Another great aspect about Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme is that iot makes your nails grow! My nails usualyy do not grow for very long before they chip and tear, but this product made then very long and strong. I was not expecting that but...

I love this cream.  It doesn't wash off easily, and smells terrific!    It helps to mix it up a bit after opening to cream it up, as it is a bit thick.  If you don't like a waxy feel, this cream is not for you, but if you don't mind that, it's wonderful.  Will have a protective layer on your hands for a long time, as opposed to lanolin based creams, and will not leave a foul taste to food that may get in touch with your hands.  Not greasy at all.   There is a banana version too that I don't care for, as it smells good at first, but then gets a foul smell, but the almond always smells good. ... read full review »

Burt's Bees products are fantastic, especially this one! I never considered buying organic/all natural type products until I realized my small child had very sensitive skin. At that point I realized that buying all natural products became a necessity.

I have tried several items for the Burt's Bees line - but this is my favorite!

Forget about just using it on your hands, I use this all over my body! I use it on my legs and have noticed a huge difference in the way my skin feels.

My skin feels softer and I do not have to shave my legs as often. Not sure how that works but it does!

I love almost all of the Burt's Bees products. The Beeswax Hand Creme leaves my hands feeling silky and smooth; however, at the time of application and for a few minutes after, I think my hands feel greasy.

The hand creme is a bit expensive but will last a very long time. A very little bit of the creme goes a long way. I have had my current jar for well over a year and have almost half of it left. I use it mostly at work where my hands tend to dry out from handling papers.

The smell is pleasant (Almond Milk) and I find it a nice change from all of the flowery creams.

This hand cream is truly a cure for dry, cracked cuticles and hands.  It is also great on feet and elbows or any other very dry spots.  The scent is of sweet almond and the consistency is very thick, almost like a moisturing paste.  As always, Burts products are all natural, so you can feel responsible about your choice of hand cream.  The only down side of this product is the greasiness right after application.  This is why I recommend using it at night with or without a pair of gloves.

I work in an office environment and have extremely dry hands.

I keep a variety of products at my desk - cremes and lotions, etc.

This product is very nice & creamy.  It's slightly greasy and I have trouble getting it out of the container because I have slightly longer fingernails and it gets under them easily (would be nice if it came in some sort of tube)

I would use this religiously if not for the scent.. I HATE the way it smells.

I bought this at a big clearance sale so I think I paid around $2 for it.  I would not have purchased it at full price.  I have to say it does wonders for dry skin but the scent may turn some people off.  I like it but the other half says he doesn't so I tend not to use it often.  I love that the ingredients are all natural and would recommend smelling it before buying it!  The smell does wear off.  It made my hands soft and not greasy.

Burt's Bees hand creme is the absolute best stuff for dry hands.  After wondering for so many years why my skin broke out and was splotchy and red, I discovered that when I tried the natural products of Burts Bees the redness and splotchiness went away.  My skin is clear and moisturized and I prefer the natural fragrances over the chemical ones.  Give it a try, you won't regret it!!!

Expensive but very intense and serves the purpose of creaming the hands.  I love this product but may be too much as compared to other value hand creamers in the market that may be comparable to this.  I love this and got as a gift and would recommend to friends and families as an alternative for intensive treatment for hand dryness.

I love this stuff!  We heat with wood in the winter and I have extremely dry skin, this stuff is amazing.  It lasts all day. I even use it as a face creme in the winter. Even with the little (very little) greasiness, my face doesn't break out.

I bought this stuff on a whim, just to try it.  OMG-I LOVE it!  I usually put it on at night and let it soak the whole night.  It makes my hands so soft and smooth.  I really like the fact that it is a natural product and I know what I am puttingon my body.  The only thing I don't like about it is that I wish you could buy it in bigger jars.
