Burt's Bees is hit and miss with me. While I like the idea of mostly natural products in recyclable containers, some Burt's Bees products flat out stink. Sometimes in quality and sometimes they REALLY do stink.
Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme 2 oz does not stink. In fact, it is fragrant and works well.
The Creme
This creme comes in a glass jar with a metal lid. The creme is white and very thick, thicker than body butter. The scent is like the Jordan Almonds that you get in mesh bags at weddings. It is a sweet almond scent that is quite good. However, it does have a sort of funky scent mixed in that takes away from the pure almondy goodness. Still, I like the scent.
The creme is so thick, you only need a small amount to cover your hands.
My Use
I have loads of hand creams but this one is on my night stand. It is so fragrant that I enjoy using it at bedtime and so thick and rich that it is best to use at night. It is somewhat greasy but not overly so. It sinks into dry skin and softens it and leaves my hands hydrated and smooth.
The scent stays on my hands for a while but not too long. I would like it if it hung around longer.
This cream is 99% natural and the container and top can be recycled. That is always a good thing.
Conclusion
I like Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme 2 oz and, for only around $6.00, it's a bargain. It isn't the best hand creme I ever used but it's a good addition to the many I have. It's dry here in New York and I need constant hydrating. This helps. It's one of Burt's better products in my opinion. ONLY buy this is you really like almonds, though, because it is very strongly scented.
4 stars. It's good!
