My mother-in-law bought this bassinet for our first baby. Although at first I was so glad for the gift (knowing that I wanted to keep my baby next to us for the first month in our room) I soon learned after only 2 nights that this bassinet wasn't safe for a sleeping baby. The bottom of the bassinet was too soft in my opinion and my baby actually rolled on her side. I was too fearful of SIDS risk to keep her in this bassinet. I would say it is fine to use during the day if you are watching baby, but during the night when there isn't a constant eye is probably not a good idea. There is a bottom area for storage which was handy and the top portion comes off so you could bring baby to other rooms. Again, just use it for day use, not the night!

This bassinet has really served us well. Like some of the other reviewers mentioned, it is made of fairly cheap products (plasticy and so forth) but to be honest, that doesn't really matter. It is plenty sturdy for a newborn to 4 months or so. Their are several aspects of this bassinet that have been really great. First of all, the fact that you can wheel it around. It made it really nice to be able to push the bassinet in our room or in the living room or even next to the kitchen table while we were eating and our baby just wanted some company. Second, the baskets on the bottom have been extremely useful. I use them to keep diapers/wipes and then bath/lotions. It is a great use of space and so nice to have these items tucked away, but still easily accessible. and thirdly, it is great that the ribbons/colors are interchangeable, making this bassinet practical for those planning on having more than one child. Overall its a great deal, convenient, and an excellent space saver!

We are very satisfied with this Burlington Bassinet with Bedding and storage in blue. I read the previous previews and saw the pictures and couldn't decide if I wanted it as it didnt look too sturdy, but then decided to buy it and return it if it wasn't sturdy enough. this was for my firstborn, and i was very concerned for the sturdy factor, I must say I was pleasantly suprised. Its very handsome. I was 38 weeks pregnant and it took my husband maybe 5 minutes to put together. I did wash and iron the liners but I expected it would be wrinkled from packaging. I gave it 4 stars because the mattress pad is very thin. however you will have that problem with most bassinets that i saw. also, after washing the sheet it was still very rough, and i bought extras that i used instead as they were softer. And also the liners are very hard to put on the baskets;however, they do come in handy. I used the baskets for diapers and wipes and ointment I used the bassinet for 5 months and my son was very big baby so for the price, i was very pleased

i like it due to the matching baskets and love the color i picked pink since i had a girl the only bad thing is that the hood cloth came apart my little girl used it for just a couple of months since she sleped next to the bed it was convent to pick her up when she would cry

I am very happy I brough this product when my son was born on Sept. 10, 2010.I had a c-section and so I thought the first couple weeks would be tough. A week after baby was born it was time for my husband to return to work. I knew I wanted the baby around me at all time and during times of my post partum blues... I always wanted to be sure he was doing alright too... T he baskets underneath were also helpful with keeping everything I needed for him close by (Diapers, bottles, wipes, extra undershirts/pajamas, diaper cloths, Binky (if needed), lotion, and powder. Another thing that I love about this product is that it has wheels. My son sleep peacefully and I felt good about his safety......especially because he has young brothers and sister. This bassinet is sturdy (7lbs 13oz baby weight at birth) and it has an underneath storage that is great,  plus it has wheels on the bottom to roll baby around.

I got this bassinet for my baby shower and thought it was really cute, I love the fact that you can chnge the ribbon and bows from blue to pink, especially since I dont know what I am having.....But this bassinet is made of something about like cardboard and the legs are a flimsy plastic and the baskets n the bottom are held by 2 peices of plastic that you have o turn and this was very hard to do...wound up having to force mine to turn and lmost broke the little notches off...If I hd known how cheply mde this was I would NOT hve put it on my registry
