I went to Burgers for a quick bite with a few friends.....we had planned to eat and then walk around town, the latter which never happened because we couldn't leave....literally - they wouldn't let us pay!  Our waitress, who previously insulted me by suggesting I ordered too much (I wanted a bowl of soup but she insisted I get a cup since everyone else did), disappeared after dropping off our check.  We waited and waited for her to come back, then asked someone if we were supposed to pay our waitress or up front - she said either way.  So we kept waiting for her to come back - never did. ...
