Burgers - Mammoth Lakes, CA Review

I went to Burgers for a quick bite with a few friends.....we had planned to eat and then walk around town, the latter which never happened because we couldn't leave....literally - they wouldn't let us pay!  Our waitress, who previously insulted me by suggesting I ordered too much (I wanted a bowl of soup but she insisted I get a cup since everyone else did), disappeared after dropping off our check.  We waited and waited for her to come back, then asked someone if we were supposed to pay our waitress or up front - she said either way.  So we kept waiting for her to come back - never did.  When we asked another server where she was, they said we had to pay at the front anyway.  So we tried to pay up front but the hostess was busy taking to go orders and answering the phones and doing whatever else she was doing.  So we waited patiently, until it was just ridiculous - one of the girls politely asked if we could just pay, and she snapped "As you can see we're busy!"  We looked around at the 3 tables......interesting, this is busy.  We were seriously so peeved that a couple of us contemplated just leaving, but we stayed, waited about a half hour just to pay our bill.  The hostess proceeded to ask us if we left the tip on the table, as if it were a requirement.  We didn't leave a tip (and it was the first time any of us had not left a tip) because the service was so horrendous - our server was unattentive, rude, and just left, and all the other people working there were equally rude and unhelpful. 

Oh, and the food was blah - not bad, not good, just blah which wouldn't have been that bad had the service been good or even ok.  We now refer to is as our DAY at Burgers (since we couldn't leave, were there for hours, & never made it to town).  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
