Quick View: I rarely write reviews about men's fragrances because I don't wear them. But I have to say I could almost get away with wearing Burberry Weekend Eau De Toilette Spray for Men without smelling masculine, yet my son wears it and doesn't smell in the least bit feminine. It's a great. long lasting fragrance.

About Burberry Weekend Eau De Toilette Spray for Men

My kid is a real fragrance snob. He will only wear certain colognes and he gets sick of them fast. This year, he decided he wanted to go back to Burberry Weekend. He used to wear it then moved on. When I looked around for prices, I saw the cologne had been discounted so I bought him a bottle for Christmas for his stocking (He's 23 and yes, still has a stocking. lol.). When the fragrance came, I did the unthinkable. I opened it and tried a little bit on.

I had remembered Burberry Weekend as heavy and sweet but I guess I was thinking of another Burberry men's fragrance. Weekend is amazing. It's light and fresh with notes of bergamot, citrus and sandalwood blended with notes of ivy, oakmoss and honey. It all combines to make a really fresh men's fragrance that's very casual and super long wearing.

I tried a tiny bit on my wrist to see how it smelled and I could still smell it the next morning. It's definitely not a feminine scent but, used sparingly, I would wear this fragrance now and then. It's such a refreshing scent that gets noticed.

Because it is so casual, men will probably want a more sophisticated scent for formal events or nighttime but Burberry Weekend Eau De Toilette Spray for Men is a great scent for everyday and for hanging with the guys (and girls). It is one of those fragrances that doesn't knock you over yet you still notice as you walk by a person wearing it. My son was right. This IS the perfect winter fragrance because it's unlike the heavy, musky, tobacco smelling stuff that most guys wear in the cold weather. This fragrance reminds me of spring and who doesn't want to think of spring when the snow is up to their butts and the temps are in the negative numbers?

I love it and am buying some for my husband. I just bought him another type of cologne but I can't resist buying him Weekend as well. I just hope snuggling with him when he wears it doesn't conjure up visions of my son. That would be SO not cool. Ew. Haha.

My Viewpoint

if you're looking for a great casual fragrance that lasts for hours but isn't too strong or sophisticated, give Burberry Weekend Eau De Toilette Spray for Men a try. I can't imagine many men not liking the scent if only for casual weekends. It's affordable now and comes in after shave as well as cologne and in a couple of sizes. 5 stars.

Thank you! Yes, I know Allure. Its a sexy scent. I like Ralph Lauren Romance on men a lot as well. Welcome to Viewpoints! Stick around and have fun!

not gona lie, i came on here looking for a review for colognes.
Now if a woman this beautiful says it smells, good, i cant argue with that. I am going to have to add this to my rotation. Have you smelled Allure? I buy a bottle of that a few times a year

I am a discrete sniffer. I never let em know I'm checking out their fragrance. The worst thing is being in an elevator with people who all have fragrance on. I'm allergic to many florals so I about die before I get off the elevator.

I am that way with Drakkar. I still love it--tried and true! I am tears laughing at this review because when I first saw the product name I thought it said "blueberry weekend" and I was like, huh? I can relate to blueberry lip balm but blue berries on a man? Then I realized what I had done. Great review! Be careful who you sniff someone might think you are trying to pick them up ;+) ~Gigi

I actually followed a guy once and when he FINALLY slowed down, I asked what cologne he was wearing. I KNOW he thought I was trying to pick him up but I just loved the scent. I ended up buying some for my husband and he hated it. lol. MY husband is so........grrr. He likes what he liked 30 years ago and that's that!

Don't be embarassed, I got caught "sniffing" some one once who was wearing my favorite at the time -- Drakar.
