Bunn Rocks!

Practical, Mr. Fix-it, picking up after pets

From the picture, this one looks like my Bunn (coffee-maker). I've had mine for well over 10 years and finally, yesterday, the little red light that tells me the warmer plate is on burned out!

My only problem with it is that if the coffee is too finely ground and you pour the whole glug of water in at once, the filters can't keep up with it. Problem: is it the coffee? Is it the filter? Is it my Bunn? If you pour the water in half at a time, there's no problem.

The coffee is ready much faster than any other type of coffee-maker I've tried!

Would I buy another Bunn again? In a hearbeat!

Good point! I have found, lately, that if I add water in 3rds, I can get it done, though it takes longer.

Finely ground coffee floats, the bunn fills the filter cup with water too quickly and the light grounds over flow the filter cup. I found it difficult to grind my own coffee and use a Bunn - the coffee foundin cans generally worked best - however they lacked the fresh flavor that I was looking for.
