Most HelpfulI'm the person in charge of buying all kitchen supplies at my place of employment. We had our old Bunn coffee maker for YEARS and it was a reliable appliance. However, my co-workers wanted to try something different when it finally died.
I purchased a different brand of coffee maker and it made HORRIBLE coffee. Boy was my boss mad at me. You don't mess with the boss and his coffee, so I stuck my tail between my legs and went and bought him a new Bunn. Our coffee has been great ever since, and now my boss is happy again. Yeah.
What makes Bunn so different? Well, for one thing it makes...
review »I bought my Bunn "Thermo Fresh" coffee pot about two years ago after losing custody of my regular Bunn coffee pot in a bad divorce. (Yes, it was terrible! Lost the espresso machine too!) That's ok though--I upgraded to the Bunn thermal pot and LOVE it! I even bought an extra carafe so I can brew iced tea and have coffee at the same time.

The Bunn makes a great cup of coffee and in a very short time. I have had my Bunn coffee maker for several years, and would not ever buy another kind. In a matter of minutes your coffee is done. The only downfall of the Bunn maker I have is there is no auto shutoff on it. I have had other coffee makers and they wear out in a very short time frame
I've gone through many coffeemakers, two Mr Coffees in one year, a GE, a Hamilton Beach and a Cuisanart. When they all die I go to the basement and pull out the Bunn I've had over 25 years. (Wife had retired it because it clashed with her color scheme.) When I wake I know I can brew a pot in 3 minutes.
Restuarants use them for speed and reliability. Recently I've heard of people having problems with them. Before you buy, look at where the unit is made. I've seen them in the correct color (wife's) but didn't buy, Looked and felt cheap and was made in China. They'll get the hang of it eventually;...
