I loved the Bumbo Baby Seat!

Pros

my son likes it, easy to clean, easy to feed child in it, interesting design

Cons

pricey, chubby legs get stuck, baby can arch out, outgrown quickly

When my mother purchased this for me and my son, I initially thought it looked a little strange and was not sure how much I would use it. I also thought that it was a little expensive. I ended up using it like crazy! My son was not old enough to sit up on his own yet, which made getting things done very difficult. I had tried laying him down on a blanket, putting him in a bouncy chair, but he did not like to be reclined or laying down. After getting the Bumbo Seat, anytime I needed to set my son down to do dishes, unload the dish washer, fold clothes, etc., I would place him in it. He was able to sit upright and look at everything around him. He was very content to sit in the chair and watch me work. I also used the seat for some feedings when he was too small for his highchair. He would often times have a bowel movement when sitting in the chair, I am not sure why. (We have already purchased the Bumbo toilet seat trainer for that upcoming stage.) The chair also cleaned up easily if there were messes. He is now too big for the seat (10 months) and can lean forward and crawl out of it. I began to get worried that he might hurt himself if I left him in it, so I have stopped using it. I have told all my new mom friends about this great hands-freeing product.
