Bumbo Baby Seat Review

I bought this product with high hopes when my son was about 5 months old. He was trying to sit up on his own but not quite there yet. I hoped that this product would help him to be able to sit up and play with toys or watch tv while safely on the floor. I purchased my item at Target. It does come in some great fun, bright colors. I opted for the blue version. I got home an assembled it. Unfortunately, my son's legs barely fit into it. He was not a chubby baby at all but the bumbo baby sitter seemed to be a really tight fit for him. Honestly, he looked incredibly uncomfortable. I bought the version with the tray and he just looked like he was trapped. He still hunched over slightly to the side. while it is a great idea, i think that there are problems with the execution. It may work well for babies who have really thin legs. But, even then I would wonder whether it is doing more harm than good. It seems a better idea to let them develop sitting up on their own. Sorry, can't recommend.
