I love the bumbo seat, my daughter has used it since she was about 4 months old. It gives her a sence of independence and encourages her to sit. She loves being able to play with some of the toys she could't at floor level. My daughter also enjoys snacking and watching television in the chair. The only down side is that her legs are getting chubbier and she does get stuck from time to time but as she gets older and her legs thin she'll be able to use it with ease. My 18 month old neice loves to sit in the chair when she comes to visit and has no problems getting in or out of the seat!
