Bumbo Baby Seat: Moms like it & now I see why babies do too

Bumbo Baby Seat with tray

One of favorite friends has two children the same ages as my own, 9 and 5. Last year she was blessed with a surprise baby number three after giving away all of her baby equipment. During a play-date I asked her what was new in the baby department. Specifically, I asked "Is there any cool baby gear today that you didn't have with your first two children?" Her eyes lit up and she had to tell me about the Bumbo baby seat.

It's a soft but stable seat available with a tray made to support babies that can hold their own head up to sit up. Sounds simple but in a household with two active children playing in the floor with race tracks, board games and so on, the Bumbo seat allowed baby Bella to be part of the action and Mom to have free hands to help the older children too.

Today I went to a community gathering with babies galore and got to spend some time with some new little special friends. As Moms unloaded babies, quilts and diaper bags, I saw that the baby accessory of choice was the Bumbo Baby Seat. This time I got to see why the attachable tray is such a great feature as babies were entertaining themselves with toys that were within their reach.

From my observations and talks with other Moms, happy babies enjoy sitting in the Bumbo Baby Seat or an average of 15 minutes. Although it is called the Bumbo Baby Seat Baby Sitter, of course infants should always be supervised for safety.

This is a unique shower gift that Moms appreciate. The only draw back is that it is used only for a short time, as are so many baby gear products, but Moms say that it is worth it for the time it is used.

My Viewpoint: Baby Moms, both experienced and new, appreciate this light weight, portable, easy to clean Mommy's helper that helps babies sit up independently and safely.
