These are great! Really wonderful pocket diapers for people who didn't think they could cloth diaper (like me!). They are similar to the Bum Genius 2.0's...exept you can wash them in hot water and the snaps match the color of the diaper. They each come with a small and large insert, use the small and adjust the diaper to small if you baby is little, use the large if your baby is medium or large, use both at night and there will be no leaks!!!
Just FYI, if you are new to cloth diapers: youcannot use most rash ointments, if they get on the diaper they prevent it from absorbing. With all...
read full review »I bought 6 of the new bum genius all in one dipes several months ago.
I love how trim and fit they are on my baby girl. Finally, she fits back into bottoms her size!
They are super absorbent and although I had read that they weren't absorbent enough to work at night, I've never had a problem with leaking overnight.
I only gave it 4 stars for one reason. Unfortunately, the velcro doesn't stay stuck during washing, and I always end up with things stuck to the dipes. I am disappointed with this, because I have some bum genius pocket dipes and don't have this problem. Just with the all in ones....
read full review »Before our first little guy was born, I spent a great deal of time online researching the current cloth diapering options. After coming to the conclusion that all-in-ones or pocket diapers would be best for us, but not yet knowing which brand seemed the best, I decided to purchase a variety of diapers to try when the baby arrived.
We tried 7 or 8 different brands of pocket and all-in-one diapers. Two brands stood out above the rest, and Bum Genius was the definite favorite! (My other favorite used snap fasteners, and my husband found the snaps frustrating.)
Bum Genius diapers are so easy...
read full review »Bumgenius is an amazing cloth diaper. When my hubby was laid off, we looked for ways to cut our costs around the house. Diapers is one of those things that can easily be cut, but so many aren't open minded to the options. It took some researching and talking to friends, but I decided that this was out best option. The specific Bumgenius diapers I have tried are the Bumgenius 3.0 One Size Diaper. I'm in love with it!! No pins like on our old fashioned prefold diapers, no covers to mess with and even better, one diaper will fit baby from birth to toddler/potty training. (They are listed...
read full review »My husband (and my friends, my family, strangers on the street, etc) thought I was crazy when I said I wanted to cloth diaper. But, he agreed to give it a shot. I did a lot of online research and picked the BG 3.0's. We asked for them as shower gifts and ended up with 17, which has turned out to be perfect. So, we didn't spend any money on them ourselves. We use them almost exclusively, only doing an occasional day of disposables when we get behind on the laundry. I find them easier to use and more leakproof than any disposables we've tried. The washing process is extremely easy. ...
read full review »These are by far THE BEST diapers I have ever used. Everyone of my friends and family members as I told them we start cloth diapering when my 19 month old daughter was 2 month old were against it, even hubby moved his nose up and said let's just pay for diapers.. I couldn't bring myself to pay the price of diapers even with coupons and deals, once we found out the problem our daughter had with "regular" diapers she was allergict to most of them I decided against my hubbys wish and ordered 6 bumgenius diapers and that was the last time our baby girl wore regular diapers, EVERY one in my family loves...
read full review »I decided while I was pregnant to use cloth diapers. So I researched online, asked friends (who cloth diaper) and read tons of reviews. I came across the BumGenuis AIO One size Organic diaper and decided to try a few. I purchased six in the beginning, along with several other kinds.
My son was born at 7lbs 15oz and once his umbilical cord stump fell off, I started using my new cloth diapers. These fit him so well, even from the beginning (8-35 pounds is what has been advertised). For cloth, this diaper does not seem as bulky as most others I use, yet it absorbs much better!
Once I decided how much...
read full review »BumGenius 3.0 One-Size diapers are absolutely the best! I am a new mom and started cloth diapering when my son was 3 months old. There were so many different kinds and I just didn't know what to pick! I started out with sized diapers, which he quickly outgrew, so I started looking at one-size diapers. I am a single mom and on a really tight budget, and although one-size diapers tend to be a few dollars more, they really pay off in the long run! BumGenius 3.0 One-Size diapers fit babies from 7 to 35 pounds! Of course, this depends on your baby too... My son is nearly 20 pounds and...
read full review »We have been using the BumGenius 3.0 One Size Cloth Diapers off and on since our son was about a month old. We did not find out the gender of our baby until birth day, so we bought some gender neutral colors before his arrival. We started with yellow and green, and when our son arrived we added the blues and darker green. I really like the colors, but still hope they add more eventually! All in all I am pleased with these diapers NOW, but have had some issues. We had a hard time with leaks when these diapers were snapped down on their lower settings, but now he is on the full sized setting...
read full review »They might not be the prettiest diapers out there, but they work! And they work over a large range of child sizes. I was impressed with the Bumgenius one-size pocket diapers because they will actually fit up to 35 lbs, which many so-called 'one-size' diapers will not. They also adjust very small for the smaller babes. This definitely limits how many diapers you have to buy and if you have two in diapers, you can just have one style and not have to be constantly worried about who's diapers are where.
they have aplix (velcro) closure, which has pluses and minuses. Their laundry tabs were okay and...
read full review »We decided to cloth diaper my daughter when she was 10 months old. We made this decision almost completely because of budget constraints. So we chose to do indian unbleached prefolds with thirsties covers. However, I had hear a lot about BumGeniuses and thought they sounded like a great idea, so I bought one. And I love it! If we could afford to, I would cloth diaper completely with them. I like them better than my prefolds mostly because of the fit. They are much trimmer and prefolds. The ease of use wasn't a huge issue for me, because I've gotten the hang of prefolds and they...
read full review »I love the BumGenius 3.0 diapers. I started with pre-folds and didn't mind them but wasn't really impressed either. Then I tried the BG and fell in love! My husband didn't want anything to do with the pre-folds but now that we've made the switch he doesn't mind. When people ask about the horrors of cloth diapers he actually tells them it's easy.
At $18 for a one size I think they're a great deal. With 20 I'm only washing every 3rd day and feel like I'm saving a ton of money over disposables.
I did have a few poop leaks when she was a few weeks old but since her little legs filled...
read full review »We have been using the Bum Genius 3.0 diapers since our son was 1 week old. He is now 8 months and we are still loving them! They are so easy to use, even my husband willingly changes diapers. We bought 2 dozen and I find that I only have to wash them every 2-3 days.
Our son has never had a diaper rash or blowout. We have friends who are always complaining about blowouts and leaks with disposable diapers and I'm always happy to tell them that I've never had to experience that part of motherhood!
After using them for 8 months, the velcro tabs have begun to curl a little on the ends and...
