Most HelpfulReally wonderful product. I wanted to be more environmentally conscious, and with the mounds of diapers and wipes my baby had gone through the first two months my pocket book was begging for a cheaper alternative. So hours, and days of searching the internet, reading reviews and eventually buying a few different types of cloth diapers (all of which I still use) Prefolds, and wraps, AIO's...Bum Genuis tops them all. While I still use my old fashioned prefolds, they are bulky, and recently have proven they cannot withstand a heavy nighttime wetting (which is great because my daughter sleeps with...
read full review »I am a three time mom. As the years go by, I become more earth conscience. I've realized that by doing things to save money, I can help the earth to. When my husband and I decided that I should consider staying home rather than returning to work with this baby, I began to explore options to cut costs as dramatically as we had cut our income (we are an equal earner home). I already knew that I would be breastfeeding, (talk about saving on formula!), what else could I do? I put myself on every hand me down clothing list of family and friends. One of whom let me on to the newer style of...
read full review »Bum Genius All-In-Ones have far exceeded our expectations of cloth diapering. Our family strives to make good decisions that will positively affect the environment. We understand not everyone can afford to spend $17 for each diaper...but if you figure the cost of disposables, it comes to about 1-1.5 bags of disposables for each cloth diaper and these diapers last for a LONG time! Consider registering for them for your baby shower...they will save you money in the long run. We have 15 Bum Genius All-In-Ones and wash them daily. We've used them for almost a year now and they are holding up GREAT...
read full review »We use primarily cloth diapers on our daughter, and BumGenius! are our favorite choice for outings and overnights. The adjustable one-size system means that these diapers fit early on and then grow with your baby. The velcro closures are very easy to use, which is great for changing baby in places where you might not have a changing table available. The fabric against the baby's skin stays fairly dry, preventing skin irritation, while the microfiber insert absorbs the pee. For overnights, you can add additional stuffing for a bulky but very absorbant diaper.
On the minus side, the BumGenius...
read full review »We have used bumGenius One Sized V. 2.0 diapers for about 4 months, and no problems with them. We mostly use them at night time and when we go out, and had very few leaks. The only time we had a problem with the construction of a diaper (a snap on an insert broke) the Cottonbabies customer service was excellent, and I got a new insert in the mail within 5 days. I also want to add that I wash diapers every other night and I have never had an issue with stinky diapers. These diapers are the closest to disposables in terms of ease of use with the added bonus that they are one sized, so the will fit...
read full review »I've tried 5 types of cloth diapers, AIO (All In Ones) and chinese prefold, Bum Genius are my favorites by far for a couple of reasons. First, forget all those size charts and buy the 3.0 that grows with baby. I wish I had all the money back I spend on new-born sizes, both my guys weighed in at just under 10 lbs. so hundreds of dollars are back on ebay since I had already washed them all to prepare them for my new arrival. Now the 2 1/2 year old is potty trained and I have a 16-month old in Bum Genius. All I can say is they are so easy to clean, take apart, put together and put on. They...
read full review »Love how easy these are! They fit very well from little babe right up to potty training, as long as your babe isn't too chunky. Not nearly as bulky as other cloth diapers.
Two things I didn't like. The laundry tabs wear out and the velcro ends up sticking to everything. I just stick the two tabs together.
Also, it takes a lot of rinsing to get all the soap out of the inserts or they develop a smell.
These diapers are great! We got 18 of them just before my son was born and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! They are adjustable, so you don't need to buy three different sizes, just the one diaper. The don't leak even at night. They wash up easy and stress free. I loved these, and I'm saving them for the next kid! I had to stop using them around a year old because my baby was getting to big. I recommend these to anyone!!!
