Bullfrog Sunblock works great except for the froggy eyes.

My brother has fair skin. He's worked as a lifeguard and a camp counselor and tried out all the various sun blocks. He swears by Bullfrog. I haven't seen him burned in years, so I figure Bullfrog is a great sunblock, and that's what I bought for our trip to Florida.

Bullfrog goes on smooth except on hairy people. I am not the hairy person of the family, so I don't have problems with that. With some rubbing it does go on guys just fine too. And, it doesn't smell "funny." It's basically odorless.

The lotion is waterproof and sweat proof. We were out on the beach several hours and didn't have to reapply....

Bullfrog is absolutely the best. If I apply it, it protects. I can remember the first time I ever used it...Torrance, CA. Fishing on the pier, and I was getting burned. Asked one of the merchants on the pier what they recommended. Bullfrog was unnanimous. It was what the surfers used, and it didn't wash off for 8 hours without soap & water. I had that first bottle for about three years. Then, I found it in more retail stores. My biggest gripe: you had to rub it in again after 5 minutes to "activate" it. Sometimes I forgot. But now, it seems most of the Bullfrog is lotion that doesn't need reminding... review »

Bullfrog is sweat proof, water proof, and sun proof!  It lasts twice as long (apply every 4 hours instead of 2) and isn't greasy or sticky.

Being a Florida native, you have to apply a ton of sun sunblock.  I have to admit I use another product for every day use.  But for those long days at the beach, which is at least once a week in the pring and towards fall, you need more protection.  And something that wont stick to the sand.

I have to also mention that I did not use this when I was pregnant.  And I got super dark!  I thought I was color void for years... but when I was pregnant I only used...

On the Bullfrog Suntan Lotion subject it is a great lotion.  It is non-greasy and has no odor at all so you do not smell weird or "tasty" to the bugs.  I did find that the fact of rubbing it to activate it to be very hard to remember when you are on vacation and trying to spot all the sights.  But, overall I found it to be a great sun blocker.  I found that I definitely did not burn and once activated it did give even screening.

This is great!!! It literally does NOT come off in the water, which is great when you're swimming all day. You may want to reapply after toweling off, but if you blot yourself rather than rub, you may be able to wait until toweling off for the second or third time before you need to put this on again. This is also great for kids, as they often don't know when to come out of the sun or reapply sunblock.

I love this product. I have lived in some very hot places and have found that Bullfrog offers the best protection I can buy. My sons wore bullfrog to swim lessions, to the beach  and to grandma's pool and they did not burn no matter how much in and out of the water they went. I sat pool side, allergic to clorine and wore bullfrog. All I got was a great tan

I've used a number of sunscreens as I burn quickly.  I also get sun poisoning if the sunscreen isn't strong enough.  Bullfrog has worked well for me.  I am from a cooler state and often travel to California in the summer for my job.  Bullfrog has allowed me to be outdoors in the sunnier climate without worrying about sun burn.

Great product but it stings your eyes like nothing else. I use it, my kids use it. We all have sensitive skin but are prone to acne.  eazy to use. easy to apply.smells ok. tastes horrible. dose not stian your clothes. did i forget to mention it stings your eyes like nothing else you could dream of. it is kind of expensive

have children, when it comes to your children theres no sence in bulling around with,

what if it doesnt work, or what if you get burned anyway, i say o' bullfrog, thats it

I have 4 kids- two are dark and two are light skinned (yep all the same 2 parents).  One of my sons is the lightest of the 4 and always had to be covered in sunblock when outside.  Thanks to bullfrog, I could cover him and not have to worry about sunburn OR eye burn!!  I always felt so badly when I would put on other brands and moments later have a crying child cause it was "burning their eyes"...  I dont mean it got IN the eyes, I mean that the sensitive skin around the eyes seems to burn when the other brands were on there.  Bullfrog never caused this.  You have to get some under the eyes,... review »

I am blonde and thus, fair skinned; I grew up all my life, burning at least once whenever summer time would come around.  About 5 years ago I was on vacation in Florida and asked a gorgeously tanned (blonde) young man how he got his tan. He told me about Bullfrog and the rest is history!  I haven't had to endure the pain and flaking of a sunburn since.  Better yet, I'm told I tan very well, which is something I've never heard before.  I used to look like a lobster most of the time, now I'm happy with a healthy perferct tan!  Thank YOU!!!!

I enjoy going to the beach with my family.  One thing we will never leave home without is our Bullfrog lotion spg45.  We are all very careful with our skin.  Since using Bullfrog, we have never experienced a sunburn!  If you use this product as it is directed you will be protected from the sun and can enjoy being out at the beach or any other outside activity.  I have tried other suntan products but this one is the only one that has prevented a sunburn.  Thank you Bullfrog!!

The Bullfrog Superblock lotion SPF 45 has kept me from burning in the sun on those hot days. It protects your skin from the sun, smells better than some other sunscreens, and it's very effective. One thing you have to remember is to rub the superblock into your skin or else it will not be fully effective! Some stores carry this item a little more higher price tha others so shop around a bit to find the best, lowest deal. Try this stuff and you won't regret it!

We live in Florida so sunscreen is a daily requirement. My daughter has fair and sensitive skin so finding the right products for her can sometimes be difficult. I love that it is waterproof and that it protects her from getting a sunburn. We love going to the beach and now I can take her and know that she is protected. It also makes me feel good that this was recommended by our pediatrition.
