I purchased this sunblock because I wanted to try the spray kind and after using this, it almost completely turned me off to spray sunblocks altogether. I thought the spray would be lighter than the lotion and less greasy, but I was wrong. This BullFrog spray sunscreen was awful in the regard that it was very greasy and not a light mist of sunscreen at all. Also, after using this product, I realized that I needed something stronger to protect my skin. I still burned by the end of the day after using this sunblock. It did not last as long as the spray can claimed that it would. I had to reapply it several times when I was at the pool. It is not a very expensive product and I had a coupon when I purchased it, so it was pretty cheap. I would not purchase this product again nor would I recommend it to anyone. There are other spray sunscreens that work way better than this one.

my grandchildren say it burns the skin when I spray it on and they won't let me put it on them. I bought two spray cans so I threw the first can away, so lucky me used the second it did the same,so with good common since I threw it away also.thanks bullfrog?

I love bullfrog spray! It sprays on so easily and doesn't ball up on your skin. The smell doesn't bother me, like most other sun blocks. I have gotten sun burnt while wearing it but I didn't start getting red until about four hours in the sun. I recommend choosing bullfrog to keep you and your family happy on vacation!

Using sunblock is critical when you live in a place like Florida, all your favorite activities seem to be outdoors - and both parents (that would be me and my husband) have had multiple encounters with skin cancer - a reminder of laying out in the sun greased up with baby oil in the '70's!  Convincing our teenagers to use sunblock is an ongoing battle. We've heard all the excuses: It's too greasy - it takes too long to put on - it leaves white streaks - etc. etc. Enter Bullfrog Marathon Mist!  Understand - we literally have a bucket full of sunscreen products. I stumbled over a bogo deal on The Frog and grabbed two cans, thinking it was worth a try.  And the verdict is: SUCCESS!! We are now a dedicated Bullfrog Mist family. The 13-year olds' feedback:  this is great - buy it all the time. The 16-year old: I'll actually use this!.  It sprays on evenly, dries quickly and without any stickiness, and lasts through a full day on the water.  It even makes it easy to get those areas like the scalp, back of the neck, and feet - areas that are easy to miss. I give the 13-year old a quick spray before he heads to school (p.e. is outside, no shade) and he comes home as pale as when he left! Seriously - melanoma is no joke, and this is the first product we've found that everyone in the family uses consistently without complaints. We're sticking with this one!

Bullfrog Marathon Mist Continuous Spray Sunblock, SPF 36 has always protected me from getting burnt. I am a fair-skinned, redhead and I know how easy it is to get burned in the sun if the sunblock I'm using either washes away or does not work well, but I've been using Bullfrog Sunblock since I was a little girl and have never had trouble with it washing off in the water, or from sweat. I am on my university's rowing team, and we practice for four hours in the sun every day. I don't even have to worry about getting a burn because I trust Bullfrog to protect me from the sun every time I put it on. I would definitely recommend this sunblock, not only because it is reliable, but because it has never had a harmful effect on my skin, and it actually smells pretty nice in comparison to all other sunblocks I've used.

I absolutely hands down love this sunblock!  I can have my daughter and son both stand there with their arms and legs spread apart, eyes closed and I can spray them with the Bullfrog sunblock confidence I have come to love and expect, without all of the mess on my hands.  It dries quickly and my children don't complain because they are in and out without all of the fuss.  This product is not only perfect for children but for all in need of sun protection.  My husband also uses it and loves it much more than lotions and other sprays.  This is the only spray that I have come across that does not require rubbing in also. I have so many cans of this sunblock it is ridiculous.  I only wish it had come out years ago.  I highly recommend this to anyone that does not want messy sunblock all over themselves.

Bullfrog sunscreen is good. Smells less offensive than any of the other ones and works really well. The only problem is that it is not as widely available as some of the others and it is more expensive, which is saying alot because all the name brands are expensive.

I have used pretty much every type of sunscreen on the market.  I am a fair complextioned red-head who burns very easily.  I tried the Bullfrog sunscreen because it was a spray on which seemed significantly more convenient then the lotion.  I worked excellent.  I was out in the sun all day, it was easy to reapply, and easy to determine if I'd missed any areas for full coverage.  Additionally, it smells fantastic.  I am not a big fan of smelling like I'm covered in sunscreen.  This product smells like oranges which is far more appealing. My only criticism of the product is that you go through it significantly more quickly then you do the lotion type.

My husband has Irish skin, meaning that he burns. blisters, peels and turns whiter than white again...so outside summertime activities can be a pain in more than one way, until we found Bullfrog.   This stuff works, and works great-we can even spend the day at the water park with all that reflection, or a day out fishing...and no whining and crying on the way home.   Now if they could only combine it with a bug repellent, because Irish skin also seems to be a neon lunch sign for biting insects......The spray application makes it easy to insure even coverage without waste, and it is easy to re-apply throughout the day and the 36 seems adequate...In fact, if he uses this stuff faithfully and doesn't manage to get burned, blistered and peeled, by the end of summer, he will look less than ghostly which is pretty cool.  No greasy feel to transfer to clothing or furniture, doesn't stain either which is great.  Smells OK, but not like a tropic salad.  Test it on a small area of skin before going out, because sensitive skin can develop a rash from the sunblock elements.  Overall a winner

My husband and I recently took a weeklong trip to Florida and the Bahamas.  We love to spend time in the sun but always seem to end up with getting sunburned at some point and having a bad time.  So this trip I decided that we were going to avoid sunburn completely and fully enjoy our well-deserved vacation.  Prior to leaving I bought 4 cans of Bullfrog Marathon Mist Continuous Spray Sunblock with SPF 36.  I usually only go for SPF 15 or so but like I said I was determined to stay sunburn free that I upped the ante a bit.  Plus there was just something so cute about the bullfrog on the label that I could not resist. Marathon Mist comes in a 6-ounce can and it has a continous spray which means that when you press the button down it continues to spray until you release the button.  Kind of like spray paint.  I figured this method of dispensing would be very easy to use and save time as well.  Turns out I was right.  This trip was truly a beach vacation in that we were in our swimsuits and in the sun from sun up until sundown.  In the morning after showering we'd immediately spray our entire bodies with Bullfrog, let it dry, then get dressed.  The mist was so easy to apply and it dried quickly although sometimes it stung a little bit and in very small spaces (like the cabin and bathroom on the cruise ship) the fumes were a bit much.  "They" say that one is supposed to apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going out in the sun but after one day of trying to breathe after applying this product in the small cruiseship cabin and gassing myself out with the fumes I decided to just wait until I was outdoors to use it. Most days I applied Bullfrog only once even though I was in and out of the ocean and pools all day and I didn't get burned.  One day of the trip was especially hot and sunny without a single cloud in the sky so I applied it twice.  Another day I got slightly burned on the top of my shoulders as I was in and out of the pool all day and my hair had rubbed the sunscreen off and I didn't realize it.  I also used Bullfrog on my head.  As you can see in my profile picture, I got my hair braided in Nassau.  I had to protect the bare parts of my scalp so I just sprayed Bullfrog over the top of my head like hairspray and it did the trick.  My scalp never burned. I love the continuous spray feature as it allowed me to quickly protect my entire body from the sun and I didn't have to spend 15 minutes rubbing lotion all over myself. It is non-greasy which is a huge plus as well.  I was even able to apply the sunblock to my own back which was nice as I didn't have to ask someone else to do it. The only issue is that I only get about 3 days worth of protection from one bottle which is why I bought 4 bottles.  Two for me and 2 for my husband got us thru the whole week so it goes fast but is so convenient that it's totally worth it.
