Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

I admit that I got caught up in the infomercial hype of the Bullett Express and was tantalized by all of the things that it was supposed to be able to do. I bought it without hesitation with hopes of utilizing it for all kinds of culinary masterpieces.

When I got it, I remained excited to use the product. Right away I was disappointed in the Bullet Express' durability. The light plastic components were simply not going to last very long, especially for someone like me who wanted to use the food processor A LOT.

I found the processor motor either way too powerful for some foods and not powerful enough for others. It decimated vegetables instead of chopping them like it was shown to do so well on television. And the juicer was just a huge mess.

I still use the product from time to time, but the various components are tedious to put together and take apart and all the functionality that was promised just isn't there.

I was really left very disappointed in this product overall.

Power
Either too powerful for some foods or not enough for others.

Ease of Assembly
Too many pieces to assemble.

Durability
The most serious issue with this product is the lack of durable pieces.

glad its discontinued

Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

I purchased this product because it was multi functional, more like multi disfunctional. The pitcher broke twice. The first time I used it the motor below. I received a replacement for the motor and the pitcher and the top of the pitcher arrived broken. The lids have attached arms to lock in for safety. The arms were easily broken. The juicer so did not juice. The only thing that actually worked ok was the processor.

Power
The motor blows quickly. The product can not with stand being on for more than 2-3 mins

Safety
Safety is based on the arms of theses plastic lids that lock into the base or should I say motor. The arms are easily broken and will snap if you put them in wrong and you will be order replacement parts in order to use the attachment. I learned if you push in the sides of the motor where the arm goes... bingo it works.

Ease of Assembly
So many pieces and no where to store anything so you will have a bunch of lose blades hanging out in your drawer.

Ease of Cleaning
Hard to clean. get a toothbrush ready to get into everything.

Durability
the motor blows after 2-3 minutes of being on.

Good quality multi tasking kitchen tool!

By

from Lake Mary, FL

Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

The product takes up a lot of room in the kitchen with all of its attachments. The fact that it performs several kitchen tasks for one price is convenient. The machine performs well enough for each of the functions it is supposed to perform (food processor, juicer, chopper/slicer, etc...). It comes with a good idea book with some simple recipes. The parts are quite a bit of work to clean since there are so many parts. We leave the machine base with the food processing attachment on the counter all the time, and it does not take up too much room. After 2years, the covering over the operation buttons began to crack, but they still work fine. Otherwise, the machine still works in excellent condition.

Power
Moderately powerful, but very LOUD. The machine would be improved is there was more than just a choice between high and low power.

Safety
Machine will not operate unless the pieces are secure and locked in place correctly.

Ease of Assembly
There is a learning curve to pick out the appropriate attachments and put them together correctly, but once you learn it they are not difficult to assemble.

Ease of Cleaning
Cleaning can be difficult because there are so many separate pieces. Many of them are dishwasher safe,so that does help.

Durability
We have owned our machine for over 2 years, and the only wear we have experienced is some cracking over the operation buttons. This does not affect the operation of the machine.

IF YOU LIKE THE MAGIC BULLET, YOU'LL LIKE TRIO

By

from Azusa, CA

Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

The Bullet Express Trio is a 3-in-1 juicer, mixer, chopper made by the same company as the Magic Bullet people. I liked the Magic Bullet so felt confident in investing in the Trio. I haven't been disappointed in the juicing feature. I use the machine 5-6 times weekly to make our fresh juices from any veggies available in the fridge. In shopping for juicers, most of them are similarly shaped. The only differences are color, different outside materials like plastic or metal but basically the same sizes and shapes. So, when we saw the Trio on sale with the added features of being a mixer and chopper too, we got it. There's only two of us, so I haven't had an opportunity to utilize the mixing or chopping features, but I use the juicing feature constantly. Cleanup is easy. However, the first time I tried to remove the blade housing, I scattered pulp on the counter. I recommend you practice putting in and taking out the blade housing before using it the first time. The blade pops in easy but is a little stiffer to remove. Otherwise, everything about the juicing feature is easy and fast for a senior like me. Just like the Magic Bullet machine, the Trio's motor is fast and powerful. Clean-up is fast and I just use a soapy dish brush to quickly clean the combination blade-bowl housing. I air dry the parts for about 10 minutes and towel dry when re-assembling. I keep it out on my counter under a cozy and have it set on a slide-out caddy for easy counter roll-out. Those caddies are wonderful for heavy appliances like the Trio or a coffee maker. I wasn't too sure about all the plastic parts of the Trio but then a lot of other brands are plastic too. You have to really shell out for solid metal juicers, so we were happy to get our Trio and on sale too! We've used our Trio juicer a lot in the past two months and I don't see that there is any damage from scrapes or scratches. Seems to be just as sturdy as the Magic Bullet reputation. Other reviewers on the Trio didn't like the mixer or chopper features, but all seem to agree that the juicer works best. I can only attest to the juicing feature as superb.

Power
I think it's a little too powerful. The juicing feature always shuts down when I juice on high or low constant power. However, the juicing feature works perfectly when I use the pulse feature. I don't know why the machine shuts off when I juice on constant power, but I have absolutely no problem using the pulse button on constant pressure while juicing.

Safety
Seems to be comparable with other brands regarding safety features. Automatic shut-off safety feature is too sensitive IMO.

Ease of Assembly
Love assembling the Trio more than disassembling. Taking the soiled parts apart causes a slight mess sometimes.

Ease of Cleaning
When juicing, I only have the plunger, centrifugal blade and it's small base, and the top cover to wash. Most of it rinses easily under warm tap water and the only soapy washing is on the centrifugal blade basket. The unit comes with a nifty little brush for cleaning this blade. A trick I learned is to line the pulp catcher with a plastic bag so I never have to wash this large attachment. The plastic bag also helps to keep pulp bits from flying out of the little side vents. From reading reviews on different manufacturer juicer brands, this plastic bag idea has worked to save messy cleanup.

Durability
I've only used the mixer feature once. I've never used the salad chopping feature because I don't make large salads or pizzas. However, I use the juicer feature several times a week to make drinks for the two of us and from reading reviews from different manufacturer's brands, our juicer is pretty nifty in comparison. The pulp is dry so we are getting all the juice out of the veggies and fruit to our satisfaction.

Does what it can

By

from Flushing, NY

Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

Typically I would be wary of anything that is sold through TV infomercials. Most of the products that have been sold through them are typically scam that overcharge via hidden fees and fails to deliver on its promises. The Magic Bullet, however does what it is supposed to. The mini blender makes smoothies and soups relatively well. However, you must follow the instructions on the manual. There is a reason why they suggest that they blend in short quick intervals: the motor is very weak and can easily die out which can be a very big problem. However, if you use the pulse feature sparingly, the motor will not overheat and this blender can potentially last you a long time. However, there are also some clear negatives to this blender (along with the motor). One such negative is the lack of customer service. This holds true to many infomercial products and the Magic Blender is no exception. Buyer Beware, if the blender die or if you need replacement parts, you should not the customer service to do anything. However, if you are careful with your blender, than the Magic Bullet an potentially fulfill your blending needs efficiently.

love magic bullet

By

from Oakland, CA

Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

I already have the magic bullet blander and have been using it for few years. I just love Magic Bullet products. This is why I decided to purchase this Trio Juicer-Mixer-Chopper, and this product did not let me down. I recently purchased this product on sale at a kitchen appliance store. I have been using it for almost everyday to make fresh juice from it. It works very well and keep the pulp away from the juice (since I do not like pulp). Also, I love the chopper because it reduce a lot of my work to make salsa or sauce. I just put in all the ingredient and it will be chop into small pieces. This trio may be a little bit big in size, bigger than what a normal mixer may be. But it is very easy to use, and easy to clean.

Bullet Express Trio Disappointment

By

from Clarence Center, NY

Comments about Bullet Express Trio Mixer Food Processor and Juicer:

The Bullet Express Trio is a 3-in-1 juicer, mixer, and slicer. Overall I do not think this is a quality long lasting product. The plastic pieces the lock the blender top in place broke off after a few uses. It is also difficult to get the seal in the right place to place the blender top on. The blender works well. The blades are sharp and it make blend until a fine puree is achieved. However recently i noticed that the motor starts to sell like it burning during use. Even when only use for a few seconds at a time. The chopper worked well but wasn't worth the hassle for me personally. The juicer sprayed more juice on the counter then in my glass. I think the product is over priced for the quality. I would not repurchase or recommend.
