This car is a great mix of luxury and economy.
I own the Limited Edition, which typically comes with more bells and whistles than the Custom does. The interior is roomy and well-thought out. The seats are comfortable, even on long drives - and those heated seats come in handy on those cold winter days. The heating and air conditioning work extremely well, and the sound system is great.
The car offers a nice, quiet ride, but still handles extremely well. I average about 26 mpg - that includes a mix of in-town and highway driving.
I have owned several LeSabres in the past, and each year range has had its quirks. This particular year range seems to be the electric window motor assembly. As a previous reviewer had mentioned, the window motor assemblies tend to go bad - this is due to poor engineering and flimsy housing. And there's no way to really fix the unit when it goes bad - you have to have the entire thing replaced, and it also ran about 500 dollars for me to do so. Luckily, I purchased a warranty on the car, and it covered the cost of repairs (I bought it used, and the warranty was reasonable and covered a lot).
Is this issue enough to put me off the car? No! I still love it! I won't hesitate to buy another one should a good deal come along. They're great cars and I'm sad Buick no longer makes them.
