The idea of lime and beer seemed refreshing, cooling...and I had sampled Miller Chill at a backyard celebration earlier in the spring (and was seriously less than impressed with it), but decided that perhaps Bud could do it better....they did- a little bit- it was passable, acceptable, but certainly not memorable or exceptional. Save your money, and take your favorite beer, and invest about $1.50 at the local produce market for 15-20 fresh limes. Mix to taste. I expect that this all started because of Corona Commercials....It doesn't seem to be a good pairing with American beer. If you...

Bud Light Lime, the first time I saw it in the beer store I thought, they are trying to cash in on the popularity of the Corona/lime thing. Probably a good idea from a marketing standpoint.
We tried it the other day in the hot sun... pretty good actually. We are Corona/lime junkies.. this beer is not quite as strong tasting as Corona( which translates into VERY light). We really liked it though and will be buying it again for sure.
Corona gets an 9/10 from us... BL Lime is close at 8/10.
I have always loved the thought of drinking a Corona with the ole lime pushed into it but i can never quite get over the the bite and bitterness of it.And then one day im in my local grocery store and there they are ......our local Bud girls offering out this new Budweiser product called Budweiser lime.I certainly have to try it and with not much anticipation and then OMG here it is the perfect combination of my favorite beer Budweiser Light with a hint of lime added to it.Now i know they arent the first to make a beer with lime added to it ,but i do know that they are the first to make my mouth...

Hat's off to the folks over at Inbev or AB. Bud Light lime has got to be the best thing mankind has created...so far!!! I love this stuff. The guys who designed this beer should win a Noble peace prize or something.
It took me a couple times to let my gaurd down on the whole "lime in a beer" drink but Bud light lime rules the roost!!
LOVE IT!! LIME IS A STATE OF MIND!!!
