Put De Lime In De Coconut --- NOT In De @$%&* BEER!!!

Chocolate in a hearty stout. A raspberry edge on an American wheat beer. A touch of cinnamon in a wassail-style Christmas ale. There's LOTS of flavors that meld well with beer. Lime in a watery, bland, insubstantial mass-market light industrial lager is *NOT* one of the "good" combinations!

Fruit and beer make interesting bedfellows. Some brewers are able to get the balance just right and I can think of a few blueberry ales that manage just the right combination of fruit, malt, hops, yeast, and water. But more often than not, the balance isn't right and this is certainly the case with Bud Light Lime, a fruity version of one of the world's most popular light beer products.

Its better than Miller Chill?

The idea of lime and beer seemed refreshing, cooling...and I had sampled Miller Chill at a backyard celebration earlier in the spring (and was seriously less than impressed with it), but decided that perhaps Bud could do it better....they did- a little bit- it was passable, acceptable, but certainly not memorable or exceptional. Save your money, and take your favorite beer, and invest about $1.50 at the local produce market for 15-20 fresh limes. Mix to taste. Touch of lime, not overpowering

I am a habitual Bud Light drinker, so I tried Bud light lime. I was hesitant after trying Miller light Chill and not enjoying my experience. Miller Chill was strong and "in your face" lime and salt flavor. However, I liked Bud Light Lime. The lime flavor was a little more subtle and the beer was a good change from regular bud light.

bud light with lime is very refreshing and easy on the palet.I drank about 45 of them last night and i am still buzzed. however i have a bad case of the squirts this morning but on the bright side it smelled like lime.

Bud Light Lime has a smooth, light taste. A little more expensive than the regular Bud Light but it's a nice change of taste every now and again. Even the non-drinkers that I know like the taste of this beer, AND are able to drink more than just one or two!!
