I didn't think I would like this. It wasn't the tomato juice; it was the clam juice that made me apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised by the combination. The tomato juice reminded me of a red eye, and the clam juice flavor was light enough that it didn't overpower the beer, but still gave it a unique aftertaste.
For those apprehensive about trying this, I recommend that you give it a taste after your first or second beer, when the taste buds have been dulled a bit. This beer isn't for everyone, but for those who don't mind trying new things, you should give this one a whirl.
