I have been renting from Budget for serveral years. The only time I will use a different company is if Budget does not have any cars where I am going. I have had excellant service in several places: Los Angeles, Albequerque, Dulles (DC), Orlando, Charlotte, Columbus, OH and more. I am a Fastbreak member and usually rent through Southwest. I get great prices and am always treated like a queen. Someplaces I as in Charlotte I am take to an area and told to pick whichever car I want. In other places I get extremely fast and courteous service. I would recommend Budget every time. Only once have I been charged for gas when I had already filled up and when I emailed a copy of my credit card statement and you could see a gas purchase on the same day as I returned the car Budget took it right off of my credit card with an apology.
