Brown Mackie--Don't believe the guarantee

1

My experience with this institution comes from before Criminal Justice was a major and stems from relationships with its faculty members, recruiters and business people. The pressure put on the recruiters to "help" students qualify for federal loans and grants was unbelievable. The cost is high and the guarantee of finding a job is only good in certain fields. Once it was only for court reporting out of 15 different career majors, but the advertising never mentioned that. Before you learn from your TV, as the other reviewer suggests, compare the program costs with salaries for prison guards and parole officers.

My name is Olympia Payne, I am currently a student at Brown Mackie College on campus. Over the past few months we have changed to some online class formats, which at first i thought i would have a problem with. I guess when you're used to going to school on campus and having hands on experiences at school, online education can scare you. I for one had to find out that an online education is better for some people that can't afford a babysitter or transportation to and from school. With an online degree from Brown Mackie College, you never have to leave the comfort of your own home. All you need is internet access and some quiet place where you can study at your own pace. One of the great benefits of an online education is that you can take your time. You don't have to compete with anyone. If you need to talk to your instructor or classmates you simply send them a email and wait. This is great for people who work and people who want to continue their education, but can't get to a campus. Best of all you can enroll, complete your financial aid and promisery agreements from the comfort of your own home.
