Brother Sewing Machine - Mechanical - LS-2125 Review

My husband bought this Brother Sewing machine for me for Christmas almost two years ago and I was never really impressed with the quality of stitching that it offered.  I know that the price range was around $80, which is not too much for a sewing maching! I was happy about the price but realized I got what I paid for.  So far I have had problems underneath with the needle hitting or scraping rather, the metel bobin underneath.  Sometimes I would randomly get stitching that would come out looking grey...like it was twisted between metal pieces or rubbed agains something black.  I would have to pull out the stich and start all over!  It machine is very easy to use and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.  The machine is also easy to thread and easy to change the needles.  The pedal gives perfectly and feels comfortable to use.  There are excellent options for the stitch type.  I am a light sewer so far only using the maching for repairs and beginning sewer projects.  But I am just happy to have a machine!
