i got this machine a little over a year ago

it is such a smooth operating machine very quiet to operate

ilove how your thread it very easy and then with the dropin bobbin that is great

i have always had nothing but brothers and would not change for another brand they have so many features that they add for a lot cheaper price than there competitors

This machine is the best machine that I have used.  It is easy, light weight, and works great.

I have had two machines in the past and both were not as good as this one!  I love it.  I can take it with me if I need to.  THis brothers machine is a purchase worthy of the money you will spend.

This machine is a replacement for a very old Singer and I fits my needs well .It can do alot of jobs and I think it is a really good machine for the money .

I would recomend it for everyone.

This sewing machine is simple to use, light weight, and a part of the digital world. You just push a button and you have the stitch you want. Capable of many different functions, yet relatively inexpensive.

Nice machine for the beginner or the old hand. Four stars!

I love this Brother machine. It has so many stitches and makes it so easy to focus on your project rather than re-threading all the time. You can literally sew by pushing a button. But don't worry you can sew the old way too. I bought this on overstock and got a great deal which makes it even better. woohoo

I received this as a gift from my parents.  Have not had any troubles, although I miss one feature most - the button that allows you to drop the needle, or return the needle to standard position.

 Other than that, it's great!

i have tried many sewing machines (brands and types) because i went to school for fashion design, and brother sewing machines are by far my favorite brand! they are easy to use and the instructions are so easy to foloow, my 6yr old daughter has been able to use mine for at least a yr now!

My husband purchased this for me a number of years ago. I was a beginner sewer and still am. I used it quite often when he first purchased it for me. I was able to make many small items such as baby comforters for cribs. I made some pillow, pillow covers. I tried to get into making cloths but that was way beyond me. The sewing machine is very light weight. It is easy to use. Has some great features. I wish I had more time to use it. I occasional take it out now for small sewing jobs. My neighbor has also used it a few times with out ever having a problem with it. It is very easy to set up the thread...
