Brother Multi-Function Center MFC-440CN All-In-One InkJet Printer —

After starting my own home office business in 1999 I bought a Brother fax machine. It was a very basic low end model as my finances were limited. It still worked in 2006 when I realized I needed a new fax machine with more features. During those years I have tried a Cannon, an Epson, and a Lexmark printer. All three had problems and could not hold up to the stress of daily use in a secretarial job. As the last printer died I headed back to Staples to see what to try next.

I spent a little bit more and bought both a brother MFC 7220 fax machine and a brother MFC 440Cn fax/printer/copier. I could not be happier with my choices. Both machines get my highest rating for a home office like mine.
