The Brother MFC-845CW All-In-One INKJet Printer with cordless phone works for just about everything. It is very lightweight if you need to move it around. It is easy to insert the ink cartridges. The print comes out clear and does not smear. The telephone system is very easy to use and it has a message center with a speaker phone. It is great for home and to use for small businesses or home use. Paper insert is on the bottom try and easy to use and put paper in and holds a nice amount of paper at one time. It has so many functions to choose from. I would recommend to anyone for household use. You can insert paper for copying from the top or lift the top which is very light weight. It is small enough to fit on a desk. The cartridges can get expensive but the machine works so well that the cost of the ink offsets the cost of the entire machine and is worth the money. The paper does not jam up often and the instructions are very clear on the machine.

This is a wonderful printer, scanner, copier, fax, phone. The portable phone itself is very low quality and does not work really well. I keep it in a place where I don't often use the phone but it's nice to have it there as an emergency. Yes this phone can be separated from the multifunction unit which is a plus. As far as the multifunction unit goes I love this and don't know how I would live without it. As a homeschool mom I am constantly scanning and copying things for our schoolwork. of course I'm also printing out lots of information from the web. I do not know how I would live without a machine that could do all of these things. I'm glad it has a nice compact size and works well to do all of these functions. I am also pleased that it faxes as I do have to turn in fax reports at times. I also like the fact that this can work wirelessly and be used for multiple computers in our house at the same time.
